The main version of Peter lost a lot of people, his uncle, Gwen, her dad the cop, Harry, sometimes his aunt and even his daughter. Sad stuff.

Glover was in Homecoming with Tom. He is also somewhat credited with being the Idea behind Miles when the creator of the comics saw him wearing a Spiderman outfit on his show community. He also campaigned to play Spiderman but it ultimately went to Garfield. He is also the first person to voice Miles in an animated series.

The cop that died in the comic and in the film was Gwen’s dad; Captain Stacy, hence why Miles looked at her.

I don't think Gwen and Hobie were anything together, just good friends and Miles was just a little jealous they were so close. And I saw someone point out that Hobie was kind of trying to set Gwen and Miles up together. He called Gwen "Gwendy" and called Miles "Peter Pan"

Miguel is not an actual vampire. He just has poisonous fangs (like a spider) Also, he was never bit by a spider. He had his dna modified by experiments and soruns. That one he injected is problably for him to be always pumped and never rest

What's crazy is they showed us Earth-42 Miles before his proper introduction! In the flashback about the Spider, we see it is about to bite Earth-42 Miles until it got sucked into a portal.
  • Damn Sam, you caught Miles being sent to the wrong universe quick! Very impressive!

1:04:22 Ben Riley is actually a Clone of Peter Parker introduced in the original Clone Saga from the 1970s. Pretty much Gwen Stacy showed up out of nowhere to the shock of Peter as this wasn't long after her Death in 1973's The Death of Gwen Stacy. It was later revealed that a villain known as the Jackal (Miles Warren) cloned Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker who he blamed for the death of Gwen. He was one of Gwen's tutors who had a very odd romantic view of Gwen this being one of the reasons why he cloned her. The jackal then kidnaps Ned Leeds and Spider-Man hunts the Jackal to his lab where he comes face to face with another Spider-Man. The lab is destroyed and the Clone of Peter (Ben Riley) is assumed to be killed in the lab explosion. decades later we get the new Clone Saga in the 1990s that re-introduced that same clone that was assumed dead. Its a long and overly complex storyline but summed up its revealed that the Clone survived and went on to live his own life for a while taking up the name name Ben Riley, Ben after Uncle Ben and Riley after Aunt May's Maiden name. Then our Peter is actually tricked into believing that he was the Clone by the Jackal this whole time so we the reader have been following the Clone of Peter Parker since the original Clone Saga, this naturally pissed off so many Spider-Man fans. Peter (Thinking he was the Clone) left New York with his wife Mary Jane, leaving Ben (Who we the reader thought was the original Peter) to pick up the mantle of Spider-Man. But it was revealed that this was not so Peter took up the mantle of Spider-Man again while Ben became The Scarlet Spider in 1994 rocking his classic outfit with the blue hoodie over a really cool red Spider-Man outfit. Ben also dyed his hair blonde as well as someone recognized him as Peter. So when people think of Blonde Spider-Man, Ben comes to mind. I always had the thought of Miles Spider-Man being the Clone as he was Blonde but if you look through his intro you can see a young Peter Parker with blonde hair so guessing he was always blonde. These stories all took place on Earth-616 which is the main Marvel Universe so Ben Riley is not some alternate timeline character he exists in the main Marvel comics. I should also point out that Ben Riley in this movie is a Variant of his Earth-616 counterpart. The Ben Riley we see in this film is from Earth-94 a fun nod to Web of Spider-Man Vol 1 118 from 1994 the first appearance of The Scarlet Spider. Some Ben Riley fans were a little upset at how over the top he was in this film on his dark past but he's a Variant and not the actual Ben from the comics so it's not a big deal. His art style though is amazing very 90s Spider-Man.

Small correction, Donald Glover is not from the Amazing Spider-Man movies (Andrew Garfield's movies), he's from the MCU, from Spider-Man Homecoming. Love your reactions. You really caught the universe 42 switcharoo so damn quick.
  • @__ETHANC2194
Nope, Childish Gambino was not in Amazing Spider Man with Andrew Garfield. Gambino was in the MCU, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Homecoming. When Tom Holland Peter webbed Aaron’s hands to his car and interrogated him, Aaron mentions he has a “nephew” to Peter. That is actually one of my favorite scenes in Homecoming. Fun Fact: A deleted scene in Homecoming has Aaron on a phone call with his “nephew” saying that he’s gonna be late. It’s impressive that you described the same story but it’s a different Peter/actor.
  • @saulgoodman6208
The Prowler version of Miles was supposed to be bitten by the spider that bit the original miles...So earth 42 miles or the prowler version was supposed to be actual Miles Morales spiderman
  • @Agent-57
I completely get Miguel's pov. He is trying to save infinite lives. Funny how much things change when you shift the role even if the goal is same. Dark Flash is a villain because he nearly destroyed the multiverse trying to save his mother. But Miles on the same path is a hero. Also that baby is dead AF. Loved Spot though. He was awesome.
  • @cephlo4933
Btw it wasn't TASM, it was Homecoming where Donald Glover played Uncle Aaron
  • @reduwu7602
Miguel did not specifically say peter died because miles became spiderman. He said "he died saving you."
  • @NickEclipse
53:30 Even tho she was aaall the way off, I gotta respect the confidence in her voice🤣🤣🤣 You’re thinking of Homecoming in the MCU…Andrew’s Universe never had a Prowler and Miguel is not a vampire. It was just a joke Gwen m
  • @therealneal3034
Easily my favorite movie of the year. Walked out of my first viewing and asked myself when I could come back and see it again. Turns out, 72 hours. 😂
  • @Okkotsu86275
"Everyone keeps telling me how my story is supposed to go. Nah... I'ma do my own thing. Sorry, man, I'm going home."-Miles Morales
  • @casualpotato44
57:17 Miles didn't get informed or briefed because he wasn't supposed to be there. They were actively avoiding recruiting Miles.
  • I was also flabbergasted by the ending not knowing it was a 2 part movie😂😂😂 movie was so good i couldnt even be mad
  • @NileSwimmer
I was like Dani too. I got bamboozled by the Miles 42 reveal. Love the liitle detail of Miles speaking with a spanish accent too, he's closer to his mom's culture. And what a discussion at the end. Such great theories. You guys rock.
