Just came across this video and ive got to say how it really hit home. At 15 i made a lot of bad decissions and by my early 20's was a drug addict in jail. Got out and drank the next 15 years away. No home,no children, no nothing living under a bridge. Since then i have faught and faught to get back up and with the grace,love and help from God i am now happily married, own a small farm, love every day and work hard. If you think your down and out then start climbing, dont give up, don't surrender, it can be done ! Havent cried in a long time but this song.....

Dear Tom , I am a 71 year old Scot. I have lived in Scotland all my life and yet I can relate to everything you sing about. What ever our skin colour, our nationality or where we live, we are all the same, and your songs touch all of us.

Tom just wrote a love song to Nova and rightfully it was hugely successful. In my humble opinion this was Toms first love song. A song for everyone who is suffering that lets all of us know we aren't alone. I think this is some of his best work. My Fans was his second love song, while it hits hard to his fans, this one is for everyone.

Officer Tatum sent me here. Lyrics with substance are a rare occurrence but sounds like Tom is handing out what people are needing. If we as people on this floating rock need change start with never using excuses and speed only the truth no matter how much it hurts . No excuses there's ways around every obstacle .

not gonna lie this song pushed me to talk to people I see around me, and almost always I have had amazing conversations with them. I have always been scared to say anything but for some reason this gave me the courage to open up again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
