I listen to this every morning. Im 2 years clean of meth, 3 years clean of heroin, 1 year clean of coke, and 9 months sober from a half gallon of whiskey a day. I honestly can relate to this. Every day I'm greatlul for that i don't use or drink. Edit: Thank you for all the love. You are all my inspiration to stay sober. Alcoholic with 140 days sober today. That line “I’m finally someone that I know again” makes me choke up a bit. Rehab was the best decision I ever made.

Suffered a seizure from an alcohol/pill withdrawal, found Tom Mac Again after not listening to him from so long. This song helped me get thru the days I was in the hospital. Thanks to these Peeps singing, you Helped Me!!!

I pray for my addicted son soon to be 40. Drugs are his life, along with lying cheating stealing. I miss him. I tried to get help for him but he has to want the help. 😢

Thank you Tom. I could tell you a story of how your music saved my life, my business, my marriage and my relationship with my 4 young children - but I'm sure you've heard it many many times before. Your messages are not lost on people from our generation.. let's hope the younger heads can learn a thing or two from you. Your music embodies my entire experience of life, and i feel a certain strength & peace of mind when I'm listening. Thank you for being so real, congrats on the success of your music, you deserve it. Whenever I'm feeling confused I sit back and listen to you and Mac Miller and it brings everything into focus. I haven't been to meetings in a long time, but I've decided to start going again to help others see what you can achieve through sobriety. I just opened my second business location, so I have a lot of people that rely on me, and its a great feeling knowing that I am doing everything I can to take care of them. I know some of them struggle with addictions - and being able to understand their problems, and meet them on their level has given me the opportunity to have stronger connections with them and offer them help and advice instead of meeting them with anger. Thank you for all your hard work. Love and Peace. It's insane how you made this song relatable for everyone. If you've been down that road, most of these things have happened to you... I was on the rigs doing heroin & oxy with my driller when I was 17. Had a girlfriend freak out and slit her wrists with a broken mirror because I wouldn't give her a line. Crashed my truck drunk with a duffle bag of drugs, and ran from the cops... And everything in between.. to then having kids and seeing success through my own business which ultimately shadowed my own issues until they ran out of control and I had everything to lose. Needless to say - it took a lot of hard work, faith, prayers and support from meetings for me to see, and FEEL the light on the other side. Shouting out all the recovering addicts, and current addicts who are trying to get sober .. don't give up.

Heroin was my demon, I struggled for 5 year’s. It took me longer to mend relationships with family, & friends because I lost my self while taking them with me. My mom passed away it took me then to open my eyes to her wise words I needed to be the women I am today. Addictions are hard but you’re always bigger then those demons.

I have been sober from IV heroin addiction for 6 yrs now 🎉❤😊 I prayed to Jesus to please scare me away from the 💉!!! The next day I sat there for hrs and I didn't prick myself once and NEVER again after that 🎉!!! Please my brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering please turn to Jesus! For me, the hard times i went through with addictions and traumas brought me to Jesus! Usually, we find him at rock bottom! I survived all those OD's and scary situation's because God has a plan for me...Just like he has with all of you! God bless and know that its NEVER to late to turn to Christ no matter what you have done! 💯 Repent in Jesus name every night! Pray for your enemies because it brings them to the light! If i can do this i promise anyone can!! God bless you all ❤❤❤
