Its better to say "I will invest 2 weeks of my services in your business" Instead of Free trial. Works like a charm.

I too signed my first client through a family/ friend referral, it’s the best place to start, especially to build those first initial testimonials to go and land those dream clients.

So true, you have to provide value and solve problems. Reaching out to one of my friends is how I got my first client. Its also helped me get experience and testimonials. Just gotta keep going💪

  • @SWildMF

Hey Jordan, you mentioned at the end of the video about only working with lucrative industries. Can you give examples of a few? I am just starting out so for all i know, i may have someone from my network in them already. Thanks
  • Hey Jordan, Nice video! Was hoping to have your opinion on something i think could be very important for anyone starting out: what if you find a business that needs our SMM services but also needs a more "classic" sort of marketing consulting service (everything else but web related stuff)? What then? If they are going to find a marketing consulting agency it's more than possible that the consulting agency will have their own people working on the web related parts of the marketing service. Any thoughts or advice on that? Thanks
  • Great vid. Btw when you get testimonials and referrals where do you show these? Eg do you put them on your social media marketing facebook page or elsewhere??? Trying to think how to display them...

I walked into a real estate office. I said hey I need a job and real estate is a great business. We talked about media, then she said come back in 2 1/2 days and tell me what you think about mine if it’s good enough I’ll pay you. Now I work there as a media consultant.

I began as a favor to a friend. Older guy who didn't know anything about Facebook. That led me to a friend of parents'. Same thing. It all began with just posting pictures and writing blurbs. Then I realized there's an actual market. So I spoke with a lawyer and account and I formed an LLC. Slowly (emphasis on slowly) but surely I'm actually building a real side hustle. That while not yet profitable for me, it's self sustaining and no longer requiring personal funds to operate.
