Running a social media marketing agency (SMMA) is a simple business model.

In this training, we'll cover exactly how to start a social media marketing SMMA in 2020. This is a step-by-step training that will show you how to get a client, how to prepare for a meeting, how to cold call, how to find clients, and even how to service your clients.

Running a Social Media Marketing Agency (SMMA) is one of the most desirable business models of 2020, and yet there remains no basic guide to starting one.

In this post, you’ll learn exactly how to start SMMA in 2020.

What is an SMMA?

Simple: SMMA stands for ‘Social Media Marketing Agency’. However, this has become a shorthand for the business model surrounding running one: whilst large corporate agencies are technical ‘SMMAs’, the term is more often used to refer to lean, remote agencies with lower associated costs.

Creating your Social Media Marketing Agency (SMMA)
The fantastic thing about creating an SMMA is that it involves almost no start-up costs. Unlike nearly every other business model, an SMMA requires just some sort of online presence and a method of outreach.

When starting out, most agency owners start with just a simple Gmail account and a Facebook page for their agency.

And in most countries, there is no legal requirement to run your agency through a legal corporation: instead, you can run a business as a ‘sole trader’.

SMMA is the best due to its high profit margins and start-up cost. Also, just the fact that you are actually seeing businesses grow as a result of your work/services offered is priceless. It goes beyond just helping a business grow, helping the business implies helping families make more money etc etc.
  • I recently discovered this video yesterday, and I just want to thank you for the value you put into this video and your other videos. With the information from those videos, I actually found a potential client in my city. Who I will be approaching later this week for a meeting. So thank you again.

Honestly it’s the freedom. I want a remote business to travel as a content creator
  • this is really helpful it’s honestly up to the person themselves to do the work, most people get an idea and plan it but never get to work that’s why people aren’t successful. they don’t act.

When starting out your SMMA biz, the hardest part is the start. Don't go in half hearted. Your business is like a giant bolder at the top of a hill, it requires everything you have to get it moving but once it is moving it builds up massive momentum and becomes an unstoppable force. One client turns to 2, 2 turns to 5, 5 turns to many month after month.
