"You want some soup?" Pedro Pascal can growl almost anything from underneath his beskar helmet and still make it sound pretty badass. One thing's for sure - you can bring bone broth in warm, or you can bring it in cold. Well, I suppose you could bring it in cold, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Babs tormenting his girlfriend with chicken feet is oddly very adorable.

It’s even more wholesome learning about the nutritional values of the soup that the Mandalorin ordered on purpose to keep his little boy healthy.

Thank you for inspiring my 13 year old Abram. Being a Star Wars/Mandalorian fan, he decided he wanted to try making Bone Broth. He did it all by himself. He would get up in the morning before anyone else and he would do each step. Our house smelled wonderful and he was pretty proud of himself when he finished. Since we’ve been quarantined, not much gets him away from video games and YouTube. So again I say thank you for inspiring him.

The "making the pot smile" thing refers to simmering with the lid placed slightly "akimbo" leaving a cresent-shaped opening or "smile!"
  • my man didn't have to flex that hard with his sweet healthy and loving relationship

While cutting the chicken feet: "This little piggy went to the market." chop "This little piggy stayed home." chop

"and this might sound crazy but..." pauses video, smokes a joint, presses play "...we're going to make a savory whipped cream." me nodding in agreement

His girlfriend makes me think about the phrase, "everybody likes sausage but nobody likes knowing how its made".

Mom: what are you doing? Me: learning how to cook lying in bed

Reason it's giving an off metallic taste is becaause you're not soaking the bone and marrow in water to get rid of the excess blood/iron taste.

Babish: "hey look, I can make it wave" His gf: "aouggghhhhhhhga!"

I’m amazed that he didn’t lose all of the broth after putting a leek in his pot

This episode has more “but wait there’s more” moments than a Billy Mayes commercial.

For the metallic taste of the marrow, it's the blood in it, you can remove it by letting the bone rest in a salt saturated water batch for a few minutes (the water should look couloured)
