I kinda like and prefer Unity's and Syndicate's parkour. but it's alright
  • @MrTouloir
Why can't you vault in the open world if there's a vaulting tutorial in the opening tomb?

This is handy to know. Wasn't even aware of the rolling mechanic. Thanks for the upload.

Leo: Explains parkour mechanic People around Bayek: Panic noises
  • In my first playthrough of ACO I noticed that Memphis, which is the where the first hidden ones bureau is, has the best buildings to do parkour over which I found quite cool
  • Awesome leo k i will take this knowledge and use it when i get origins

It is also possible to grab ledges in this game. It’s kinda hard to find a situation in which it’s necessary but one way to test it out is to go to one of the tall walls where statues of the gods are built. All you have to do is to find a pole that is perpendicular to the wall and jump off it. Bayek will just slide down the edge of the wall unless you press parkour up in which will make Bayek grab ledge.

I was understanding of making the movement mechanics more simplified, but I was dissatisfied overall with the gameplay. A lot was missing and I believe it’s because they put so much effort into the climbing mechanics and animations that parkour animations would’ve delayed gameplay

great video but increase your voice volume & reduce the game sound. Thank you.

Since you love Origins the most out of the recent RPG AC trilogy, have you ever perhaps thought about making an in-depth melee weapon guide, where you would discuss their DPS, strengths and weaknesses of each type of weapon, and possibly tell us what you think is the best type of weapon. This is a random idea that has popped on in my mind this morning, because I haven’t seen any proper melee weapons guide for this game that breaks facts down with the amount of quality you have.
  • When he reaches up to the side to pull himself up, it's just so fucking cool and adds a little bit of realism to the parkour

I’ve been playing origins since 2017 and replayed it to completion about 4 times and never once have I discovered the more advanced parkour mechanics like side ejects until now
  • Very nice and helpful video. I've already platinumed the game but can't find the way to parkour vault things. In some occasions like inside tombs it seems to work but out in the open world it doesn't. It says press X on ps4 or A on xbox to vaulth things but when i do that Bayek just climbs the ledges or the objects. If you know and have any tips on how to do this will be much appreciated. If not it's not the end of the world :)

Personally, my favorite time-travelling swordsman is Crono. Ezio is... probably in the top 5... I think.
  • The downwards parkour is like unity or black flag and rheumatoid older once like is it like you hold the circle button and he goes down or you tap it like the old ones?
