The Saw Trap (30th Original Trap)

Season 7 (Episode 8 of 10)

THE STORY

Nathan fights a battle with his own thoughts as he questions whether or not he has made the right decisions. He is starts to get haunted by his own morality the further and further he struggles to realize who he is.
An event takes place at the museum where not everything goes according to plan. The presence of uninvited guests changes the direction of things and tragedy strikes once again.

TRAP VICTIM

Isaac is an ex-military sniper who served for 8 years before being 'OTH' discharged for misconduct towards his fellow soldiers.
Isaac served in many missions on foreign countries such as: Turkey, Kuwait, South Korea, Iran and Iraq.
He enjoyed taking videos of war, where he would record his outstanding sniper skills towards the enemy. But many of his recordings include the killings of many innocent civilians which on many occasions involved women and children.
After his 'OTH' discharge, Isaac started a website on the dark web where he would upload all his 'POV' shots full of cruelty towards those innocent people.
Isaac will now be part of The Angel's latest live event where his will to stay alive will be put to the test in a game of audience VS. Criminal. A game where a bidding war will take place to see who will play against Isaac.

Thank you for joining the live everyone!. It was very fun reading all your theories before and during the episode .
  • @NightShadowNS
It would seem that Levi learned nothing from the Angel Fall Trap. Someone haul ass and put him back in it!
  • @NathanGentner
I like the double meaning for the traps name. Saw like the circular blade above Issac but also SAW, the Swat Automatic Weapon. Used to shoot the targets.

He hasn't changed. Levi Hasn't changed.. It's like Amanda said: "He doesn't deserve to live!" I wouldn't be surprised if the Vulture Trap was rigged to be Unwinnable.
  • @LightBranch4246
Delivered like always Luis! Cannot wait for The Vulture Trap! Also I believe that Rafael is part of the Angels.
  • Never did I think I would be emotionally invested in a stop motion Saw series but here I am, great work

There were alot of hipe behind this episode and I'll say. This is a really good episode. In the trap I really like the fact that the victim had to fight against a viewer, that was really original and very well made. I also like that Nathan had regrets from putting Patrick into a trap. My favorite part was the art gallery. From Nathans picture being shown to Levi threatening both Nathan and his brother Alex and to finnish it of, with Levi shooting his own nephew. Intresting part are the angels, we only saw three of them (in terms of faces)and one of them was David, the man from the first trap. And of course the post credit scene when Rafael talk to a annonimous person about a painting that they have now. Rafael becomes more and more suspiscious, alongside his "off" acting. Overall, great episode and to the guy who voiced Isaac, you did a great job at it. (Edit: Didn't realized that Christian was Alex's son)

Wow! This is incredible! You had once again got my mind blown! I love how you place members of the Angels from previous videos in this one! This is one cool original audience vs victim trap. Even though I feel bad for Isaac of going blind, I just don't feel sorry for him after what he had done to others. I really love how you set up the art museum. It looks much better than the previous videos. I have to say that you are a fantastic artist. And I was so shocked when Alexander's son got killed because of Levi. That poor kid! First Levi killed his own father, and now his nephew. He is definitely not going to be redeemed this time since he's becoming more delusional and insane. Oh, man, Nathan meeting with Rick at the end. What a cliffhanger. Can't wait for the next video. Keep up the good work and well done with the story and the effort you had put into.

“Nathan’s blindness will end tonight.” Nathan saw both his boss’s and Levi’s true colors. Wonder if White Cap is an artist.

17:51, man what a nice transition. But still. I liked this episode better. Because for the reason that Levi has justified himself for who he is. And this episode was intense. May severe karma await to Levi for the next episode. Once again, this was a great episode this season! Keep up the good work

This trap was an aesthetic master piece!

SPOILER Well, whatever hope Levi had for redemption is gone. Yet again, he refuses to understand that it was his own fault for getting himself in this situation, blaming Nathan for his troubles when he was the one who ruined Nathan's life in the first place. If Alexander didn't forgive Levi, it was because Levi murdered their own father and lied about it; he would never have told the truth had Nathan not told John when he was tested. None of Levi's troubles would've happened in the first place if he hadn't murdered Jacob and yet he's angry at Alexander for 'choosing Nathan over him'. Levi truly is a toxic person for everything he's done. Alexander always loved Levi, but Levi assumed that because Alexander didn't hate Nathan the way he did that he chose Nathan over him. And now, Christian is lying on a potential death bed; just as Levi murdered his own father, he's also potentially murdered his own nephew all because he didn't want to own up to his choices. He would rather continue shooting and running than own up to what he's done.  Even if Christian lives, Alexander will NEVER forgive Levi for shooting him, but no doubt Levi will try and blame Nathan for Christian being shot. Fortunately unlike with Jacob, Alexander witnessed Levi shoot his son, meaning the bastard can't weasel his way out of it this time. It truly says everything about Levi's character that instead of rushing to help his nephew, he ran off, valuing his own life over Christian's. But I also respect Alexander for recognizing that Nathan was innocent and that he didn't deserve condemnation.

This is my theory for the next episode: Patrick included info about Mr. Howard in the letter he left Nathan. Notice how Nathan doesn’t apologize or get upset when Howard snaps at him before the event and then how he doesn’t react when the painting is revealed. Nathan is keeping his emotions to himself so Howard doesn’t know he suspects him. Howard is a vulture, collecting “art pieces.” A dead body was already in his museum (the traps referenced in the paintings had their victims survive).
