Glad that we've had the opposite experience with Tesla insurance. Very thorough and entertaining review to watch. Thank you!!
  • I am a little over 10k miles on my M3 and I had tires rotated $65 (by Tesla in my driveway)and windshield wiper fluid twice, so far my Tesla is a win for me! I love the new update 2024.14

it is a fantastic car, almost perfect. I just installed the screen swivel which makes it a bit easier for passengers to use with their right hand . good vid

I have 38,000 miles on my Model Y, I changed my own filters. So zero service calls. I have those Seatbelt holders.. they are very helpful when you drop the back seats and put them back up. the seat belt stays in a good place, and for passengers, it makes it easier to find the seatbelts. I highly recommend them.. they are only a couple of dollars on Ali Express. I had an early build Model S and it was an adventure, back then Tesla was super accommodating, they would take the car in for squeaks and creaks and they would fix it for free. Luckily where I live the Service manager came from mercedes and he wants his service department to be run like a luxury center. He has a bay for detailing new cars which should be at all service centers. Our Model Y has been perfect, I think that I could flip it and not lose any money by getting a new one, but I will keep mine, I have ppf on the whole car, and I plan on keeping it for a long time (I sold my P85 model S at 121,000 miles and checked in with the people that bought it.. they wound up getting a Model y and a new model X eventually) I can't imagine having a gas car
  • Great video! It’s great watching you both and your Tesla experience. I have a 2018 Model S 100D. I live in California and here they have a charging network called EVCS. They offer a subscription based charging or charge as you go. I drive many miles so I opted for the unlimited charging at anytime which is $199/ month. This network is only available in California, Oregon and Washington. It’s a huge savings for me. I only use Tesla chargers in an emergency because I have the EVCS subscription. The only downside to EVCS, at most locations in California, is the they are only 50kwh of power which takes me about an hour and 15 minutes to charge from 20-80%. I don’t mind because I’m saving tons on electric costs.

My model Y is at over 135,000 miles now and is holding up great!

Based on my previous experience with car collision repair, 3 weeks for that car repair is not unreasonable in my opinion.

I just picked up a brand new model Y last week and absolutely love it. I still have a Prius plug-in that my wife drives which has been a great car, but you really can’t compare a Prius and a Tesla.

Very nice video!! As a fellow Las Vegas resident and owner of both a 24 Model 3, and 24 model y, probably would help to add those vehicle registration fees into the costs. I was shocked by how much more these vehicles costs to register versus my old gas vehicles.. lol
  • @joseakajcp
Model y looks great, what window tint % did yall go with

Have you ever tried charging at chargers other than Tesla chargers using an adapter? If so , what was that experience like. Got a Mod Y LR AWD coming next month and I'd like to expand charging options for road trips beyond just the Tesla network.
  • I got my Tesla model Y December so I also have those 6 months free supercharging that are very helpful, so far I like the driving the car is fast, I love that we get all the updates as well but I something that has been a pain are the rattle noises, there are multiple noises coming from the back of the car specially in city streets ( I am from Vegas as well) I took the car already 3 times to the service center, they fixed the noise and 2-3 days after another noise, right now my seat makes a squeak noise when turning and there are 3 rattles one now coming from the front near the speaker, one from the second row seat and the last one from the lift gate, I also had a Honda civic before this car and never had any issues like that, so far that is my only negative experience with the Tesla, for a car almost 50K that shouldn’t be an issue
  • @AZ-Ron
How satisfied were you with the collision repair that Tesla service performed? Do you feel the paint matches correctly? Any issues at all?
