Project Box in my opinion was one of the most infamous cancelled FNAF fan games in the world, such a highly anticipated game just cancelled out of nowhere. Such a flipping bummer man!

Funfact about Sinister Turmoil: The main reason it got so popular was because of the online human vs animatronic aspect. Years later Angus would reveal that the original dev only did it as a way to get people invested in the game and no actual work on an online mode was ever started. Also I would check out the many weird versions of Insanity2 made over the years. It gets really fucking weird. Albeit also very short.

Not-So-Fun-Fact: Kiisto, the developer of The Return to Freddy's: Rebuilt, has harrased members of his development team and uncredited one of them. This resulted in cancelling TRTF 2: Rebuilt. All the work the team made diffuminated to ashes. He has also deleted both the server and his Twitter account.

Technically images shown for the “reboot” for Those Nights at Fredbear’s was really just a test for a dynamic AI sight which happened to reuse a lot of assets for a previously planned TNaF that was started and cancelled some time when TJoC story mode was in development.

The devs of Five Nights at the Krusty Krabs and Five Nights at the Chum Bucket actually had a cancelled third installment called Five Nights in Rock Bottom which basically takes place after FNATCB where the squidward animatronic drags you down to a power station in Rock Bottom with an animatronic called Hammerhead and various barbwire animatronics.

Kinda a shame Project box was canceled because the idea of a fnaf fan game that takes place in the novel continuity instead of the main game continuity or some random alternate versions of the game continuity was never done.

seeing five nights at fuckboys show up felt so great, the games honestly deserve so much more recognition than they get, theyre fun shitpost rpgs, sure, but there are so many good FNaFb fangames and even a remastered collection of the original 3 games that completely overhauls the (unfortunately poor) balance of FNaFb 1,2, and 3 i wish more people talked about this game, the writing in these games are so great and the community is so amazing, definitely my favorite fnaf fanseries, ever

FNAF 2 reimagined is a canceled fan game I don’t see many people talk about, I thought it was really promising and the art style was great
