That shooting star was icing on the cake but nobody is talking about it? All of us on the beach in Cocoa Beach were all in shock and awe! Was amazing! I'm a 43 year old Florida Space Coast native and never saw this. Watching the booster land was amazing and the sonic boom still shook us all even though we knew it was coming!😂

This never gets old. Go SpaceX, Go USA, Go NASA. -- to the people reading, I hope 2024 is a banner year for personal growth in your life, including wisdom, career, and family, yet pales in comparison to your following years. Nerds rule!

I was just at Kennedy space station and watched this live. It was awesome:). Thanks for putting this together for us, and I can revert back to it as a memory :). As the rocket was going up, there was a shooting star that went by. Super cool! Everyone outside watching gasped because we couldn’t believe what we saw

Please randomly show up on the NSF feed again, both you and Scott Manley give inspiration for so many people.

Hey Tim, don't know if you'll ever read this but you reacted incredibly well to the questions from conspiracy minded people you've gotten. I'm a teacher from Germany and we should never react to any question with hubris or mockery. So I applaud you for being an role model in science communication. There are a lot of people with questions and like you said, if we don't answer them, they will find someone else who is willing to answer their questions but maybe is not qualified to do so or in the worst case has alterior motives or an agenda

Just watching this late, but have to say Tim & Crew - Great Intro. Love all the old Nasa Slo-Mo. Many Thanks.
  • @bosenose4837
I love that Tim didn’t let a flat earther (aka flerf) get away with stupid words, even if super chatted! They obviously don’t understand who they are talking to and what he has done and will do. I also love that Tim made it quite clear that there is NO EXCUSE to be a flerf. The information, raw data, and measurements are right there for your viewing pleasures. Learn some basic math and you will not be able to think the earth is flat!

    The 1st 3 minutes was incredible😊
  • @YardsalesDreams
I also saw some peculiar lights flash across space when they did the separation of the second piece of equipment
sorry i don’t know the terms.

I would do almost anything to get a ride in space🎉. Back in the eighties and nineties we would coax our pilots to give us “zero g”, on our ride to altitude for a skydive. It was more fun than the jump itself, albeit more briefly. Truly thrilling

Hey Tim! I fell asleep đŸ’€ waiting for the launch .in my sleep I heard in my AirPods
“IF YOU LIVE IN FLORIDA GO OUTSIDE NOW!” . I ran outside and caught the lunch. Thank you very much Tim. It was awesome. Who doesn’t like the jellyfish. Thank you for all that you do.

Cool stream. Watching it in replay as it was during my zzz time :). Curious, is there any analysis videos on how much fuel is being through entire takeoff till orbit by Falcon 9?
  • @jazzyrick
It looks like they were just using two cameras and were switching between the two every 10 seconds or so. Redundancy? Overheat protection for the cameras?
  • I live in Charleston SC, went outside and saw the second stage fly over with my naked eyes. Once in a lifetime.
  • @AaronStarkLinux
Thanks for the livestream, great to see you again. Congrats to SpaceX team as always.
  • @frankgulla2335
Thank you, Tim, for another great effort t cover a launch to orbit of earthilings, again.
