Thank you so much for this video Ray! It was awesome!!!
  • Fun fact: It would take nearly 585 billion years to visit all of the planets in this game

I started this game last week. At first I was overwhelmed now I'm on my way in creating a massive armada. This game makes you live those space dreams you want. I'm just glad the developers didn't give up.

As someone who has played over 1700 hours in this game (over several different saves), this was very entertaining to me, taking me back to my first days of playtime. It is fun to watch someone discover the game as a new (or returning after several years) player. There really is no end to the game. You did go to the end of the story but that is such as small part of the game as far as what you can do.

I've played at least 500 hours of no mans sky and it was heartwarming to see you dive into the game and just have an amazing time. Made me get back on and appreciate even the smallest things that I take for granted in the game. Thank you so much.
  • I've played No Mans Sky since release (Yes I went through the horrid pre-patch) and I will back this game up till the end. They have done AMAZING things to fix/ improve the game and I feel people don't talk or play it enough just because of the rough launch. Love this video man!

i so love the 100 days series. better then watching TV
  • @pauline_f328
I love how much you enjoyed the storyline so much. It barely ever gets mentioned by people, despite it being one of the things I like most about the game
  • @wwaxwork
I love your content because you always seem genuinely excited. So many people doing playthroughs try to act too sarcastic and skeptical and your joy as you discover each new cool thing is infectious.
  • @grizzlyflute
This video is better than any review out there in terms of making me want to buy this game. Your enthusiasm for it is infectious. Going to install it tonight.

Theres really not many good no mans sky videos out there, and then i found a 80 minutes cinematic experience, thank you very much :D Hope we get a second part at some point, theres still a lot you can do in this game

I have over 500 hours in this game and it was very refreshing to see the game from a new player's perspective again - the wonder and excitement you have brings me back to my first month playing NMS in June 2020

I am so fucking happy that you have covered this game with so much passion. I have been in love with no mans sky since it came out in 2016. I have been playing exclusively in permadeath since 2018 and by now it just feels natural. There is so much more to discover man, keep going.

I had pretty much the exact same experience when I first started No Man's Sky. 1400 hours in-game later... I am still pretty enthusiastic and still see and find things I never saw before. It really is an amazing game... and they just keep making it bigger and better for FREE without a single microtransaction or paid DLC. Every single cosmetic item and upgrade is earned through gameplay. What got me as a beginner was the failure to really appreciate the vastness of the game. I spent days on one planet... the second planet I visited... exploring, mining, building. I put a base computer down at anything the least bit interesting, assuming I would want to return 😂. And then I progressed and gain access to all the research, base parts and upgrades. 🤯 And then I got big into ship hunting, still kinda am... though I don't photograph and catalog every single one anymore 😂. And then I got into seeking out Curious Deposits to build nanite farms for the public to take advantage of. And then I started building music festivals and creating ByteBeat music for them. And then I got into building a freighter base with super detail, like its real and being lived on. And then I got into genetically manipulating eggs to make crazy cool creatures and then trade them with others. And then I decided to be a pirate on a permadeath save... we do not sow. I didn't work for anything... I stole it all 😂. And then, and then, and then... 😂😂😂 I just recently... like a week ago... finally completed the story, because the most recent update required it to access the new stuff. 😂😂😂😂. Its not like any other game. Its a tiny universe in a box pretty much. And its your oyster. There is so much to do and so many ways to do it... and as soon as I get a little bored, they drop a new update. 😂

Aside from parts of the main story, I think you still missed quite a few other things. Or at least they weren't covered here. Becoming the mayor of your own settlement, exploring derelict freighters in space, owning a mech (and installing AI to automate it), building a race track for your car, another cool mission, multiplayer content, genetically modifying companions, hundreds of food recipes, living ships, organic frigates, etc. ;) Really enjoyed the video though. That was a blast!

I've played through much of NMS's content so often I've forgotten what it was like to encounter much of this stuff for the first time. Your reactions brought back great memories. Thanks!
  • you have one of the most fun playthroughs i have ever seen, mostly because of your excellent narration. good job
  • @buzzyb13
Its refreshing to see someone playing NMS with such an open mind. So many people fall into patterns or exploit weaknesses within the game and its economy to give them a significant advantage (looking at you chorline dupe), and it can severly underhand the experience devs intended for players to have. I say this as someone who discovered the chlorine dupe waaay early on and have used it to my advantage ever since. 😅😂 I mean, why wouldn't I? Just saying it's nice to see someone actually play the game in 2023 and not try to cheese every situation.
  • @marcmartin606
Thank you Ray. This took me back in time. Your enjoyment is contagious/infectious. I enjoy the exploring but, love the building more. Keep playing... No Man's Sky is ever-expanding.
  • @homietclown
Great video. You were killing me at 36:00 when you had filled up on inventory but had added no tech slots yet. Lol thanks for doing this.
