As an astroneer completionist, I can confirm this is a very solid play through.

This game's changed so much since I last played it 4 years ago O.O Half way through, when you started going to those other planets, it started to fell more like a horror game for a sec with all those creepy plants lol You're amazing!! Chunky Monkey!!

It is so cute seeing a first playthrough of this game. I have an ungodly amount of hours in this game. Every new player makes such a mess of his first base. I don't mean this as an insult. I think that is just normal. It amazes me how long you made it with just the shelter energy. That slowed you down so much. When you land on a planet you should always look for medium wind turbines and solar panels first. You can just find them on the surface. Makes your life much easier. Base management comes natural with time.

Your commentary has improved so wonderfully! It's been fantastic being along the ride as you grow as a creator. I remember my first play of Astroneer, it was so confusing but it felt so satisfying when I finally figured things out! I'm glad you enjoyed this game so much C:

Next time you play use 2 tractors and 2 trailers in a train, it costs basically the same, gives you a extra battery, and if one end gets stuck you can use the other end to pull it out. It is also useful for multiplayer(for obvious reasons) Edit: use flatten mode to build ramps

For a seasoned Astronear player it was a little pain full at first but I’m glad your enjoying such a great game and bringing light to a less known game

It is interesting to see how different people progress. This isn't an insult. I missed several key points playing through the game, only to have to backtrack and figure things out. I continue to explore Astroneer. Great video.
  • CHUNKY MONKEY I love every 100 days you post and have watched basically every single one. to dedicate your time for our joy means so much. i can't wait to see the next game you post
  • @Zazooku
Amazing video and looks that you really captured exactly the joy I went through on my first playthrough. If you are going to make a 200 days video some tips: * Make a paver for the rover and your hand tool, it will allow you for make bridges and smooth areas to build your stuff * For the actual ending you will need to unlock all the planets and I would highly recommend it as there is story * Glacio is the hardest planet to have a base but if you take several wind turbines and batteries, it is the best planet for Bytes... by a long mile * For each planet have a mini-base with a couple of Large Platforb Bs, a condenser, batteries and mix of solar/wind turbines. You then place the condenser in the middle with 2-3 large storage conainers and that means that when you come back you will have a tonne of gas (for multiple gases double/triple the setup)
  • honestly one of the first Astroneer videos i actually watched in full, This video gives me the feeling of experiencing the game for the first time and i love it :) def getting a sub
