  • Carlin wasn't a comedian; he was a philosopher with a sense of humour.
  • The only entertainer who could tell his audience off and criticize them for an hour and receive applause and a standing ovation.

Still spot on after 27 years. The man was a genius.

"Selfish, ignorant citizens elect selfish, ignorant politicians." He nailed it

Jesus... imagine if he saw America today. The comedy would be gold.
  • @briandorobiala5439
Carlin literally joked about things that would happen in the future and he was right. That's extreme intelligence that can't be considered luck. The most intelligent comedian that ever stepped on a stage

If this LEGEND was alive in 2024, his material would still be endless.
  • @RobertNES816
If Carlin was alive today he'd have endless material and packed audiences.
  • "How can you possibly be nostalgic about something that happened an hour ago" This guy predicted social media. You are missed George.
  • I still have a couple of George Carlin's LP's in my collection from the early 1970's; I saw his first appearance on the Ed Sullivan show. Over the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st centuries, we have seen some very gifted humorists. But I've yet to see anybody as fast, intelligent, creative, thought-provoking and consistently educational as this gentleman. Absolutely one of a kind!

He never gets boring.. watched his stuff multiple times
  • @TMBARD
Carlin’s anti-motivated attitude toward motivation books is motivating.
  • @j0kkis11
Carlin made a living from telling a theatre full of people how stupid they are, while the audience laughed and cheered!

He was a genius. Whatever profession had he chosen he would have been the master of that field. The greatest of all time.
  • @karolinutza
This man was a genius. He exposed everything through comedy. This world lost when he died.
  • @jovanvuj
Fun fact: he didn't predict future, we just never changed.
  • George Carlin is basically that "one voice" in the back of your head.
  • He is one of the greatest comedian. But I haven’t seen him laugh while doing the comedy. This guy talks his heart
