the yanks claim this guy as a national treasure but id like to go one further and say he was a world treasure, his material never goes out of date and is always relevant, he uses humour to highlight the ludicrousness of modern society and its "values" and always leaves u thinking, sorely missed <3

Carlin is one of those rare people who is refreshing to watch just because he’s more committed to truth than any illusion.

What made Carlin so perfect for the arguments he’d raise is that he always proved expertise in whatever subject he was arguing. Sure he never got an official degree in any of these, but he as someone who detests bullshit, showed how you can strip away any bullshit in complete real-time with genuine research and understanding. It’s kind of the complete opposite of any bullshit argument on any online comments section.

Everyone thinks that George Carlin was a stunt up comedian but he was a philosopher.. One of the greatest ever existed.. To me he changed my life and still guide's me

As a person who goes to church and has religious beliefs, I totally get where he's coming from and have always appreciated his humor.

The great thing about George is that even though he's dead, he's still telling the truth and was right about everything he said.
