  • I heard Musk cancelled his weekly update meeting and now just watches this on a Saturday
  • Thanks for mentioning Joe Barnard! It brought me great joy to see him succeed this week. He's done so much interesting work over the years. Go space!
  • @dazuk1969
Massive respect for mentioning Joe. For someone with no rocketry experience to build and land a rocket like Falcon 9 is mind blowing. SpaceX....GIVE HIM A JOB !. Nice one Marcus.

We are certainly living in exciting times How lucky we are to be able to see all this close up. . Thank you MH + Team for everything you do.. it's gratefully appreciated. .

Re: removal and replacement of new pumps Mechanical seals on pumps have a high rate of failure on a new system install due to all of the jostling around during transport and install. Looking at those pumps (vertical mount of motor over pump) it is easier to remove the entire pump/motor and bring to maintenance facility for repair vs. just the pump end itself as is typically done on horizontal pumps.

Adding the arrows pointing out features of the narration helps break down the complexity of so many different structures. Thanks, Marcus
  • @bazanime
Nice rundown as usual. Thanks Marcus and contributors. 👍🏾

Is anyone else utterly UNIMPRESSED with blue origin amusement park rides?
  • nice to see so much progress for the starbases! Elon says it often, production is a tougher nut to crack than design.
  • Yet Another excellent report! Thank you Markus for all you do. We all realize how much work this takes behind the scenes that we watch with fervent anticipation, so we really appreciate your work. Our excitement in this Space-Time is reflected in your enthusiastic and professional reporting, and we are grateful for people like you who bring us up-to-date on these exciting times. Bravo!

Gosh..... I totally missed this week's Blue Origin carnival ride. Not really interested in astro-nots I guess.
  • @NuDavai
He made his own flight computer chip, and even coded the software himself, joe is absolutely a legend
  • @changbeerbeer

  • @Yattayatta
Awesome Episode, so glad to see Joe made it on, I've had a smile on my face the whole time since he managed that landing. It will be amazing to see him starting to build up to his spaceshot!
  • @davemanmartin
Congrats to Joe Barnard! What a crazy achievement that took whole companies many many engineers to figure out
  • I didn't know about Rocket Joe until very recently. Absolutely amazing, controlling the landing using only solid fuel thrust! Love your channel, Marcus, always a pleasure!
  • @Meister1551
