Hey Josh,im a single dad who loves to cook and is always trying recipes from your channel, have probably watched each video you have lol have had the cookbook for awhile, was wondering if you would ever think of starting like a "week day meals"/"Quick at home meals" segment
  • @koreyb
For those of you who can't afford truffles, you can use porcini powder for a deep mushroom flavor. I add porcini powder to all sorts of things. You can make it by getting a package of dried porcini mushrooms (most grocery stores have them at a reasonable price) and then grinding them into a powder in a coffee grinder you use for grinding up spices.

As a whataburger employee I am both happy you did this and impressed

Can confirm that burger sauce (made to Josh's specification) without the truffle is still damnear magical. Never not having this sauce on all burgers forever :) Thanks Josh!
  • Just got the book today... Had an idea for you. It'd be pretty cool if you could include QR codes in the corner that you can scan with recipes that pull up your YouTube video cooking that dish. Just a thought.
  • @bagnome
"One of the better burgers we've had on this channel." I'll take that as a win.
  • @HSFAlex
His cooking is always on point, but damn these videos be like “first things first, in order make this recipe, we’ll have to start by building our very own stove from scratch”
  • I love how Yall smash the competition burgers all the time, and by smashing I mean compressing the burger into a pancake to make yours look better

The large hadron collider is kept at a temperature close to 2 kelvin (just above absolute 0), through the quark gluon plasma it makes set a record of 5.5 trillion degrees Celsius, so you could take it either way. Neither would be appropriate for cooking

  • Whataburger could never be overrated. They're clean and the food is always good.

Made this today. Never had a patty melt before. This was AMAZING!!! Since I made shoe string onions, I made onion rings as well. I bought bread at the store for it. I didn’t use the truffles and used black pepper for all pepper. Made for an incredibly cheap meal and that was amazing. Papa’s saving me tons of money from not eating out.

Josh: “Whataburger is overrated.” Also Josh: Proceeds to “overrate” every aspect of the restaurant*

I made the bread. I couldn’t get amalayse so I used diastatic malt powder which has amalayse in it. It is DELICIOUS! I plan to make some french toast with it too. It totally does taste like a brioche.
  • Party Melt is my favorite burger of all time and I will crown whataburger as the goat fast food/franchise burger joint til the day I die..... and even I'll say this looks so much better omg😭
  • @jmlinden7
Hey Josh, just a tip, you can replace the buns on any of Whataburger's sandwiches with Texas Toast
  • @Nirsi
My girlfriend gave me your cookbook as a Christmas present, and I must say, I haven't read a better cookbook, not just the great recipes, but the humor, and I can almost hear you narrating the text in my head when reading it.
  • @adingolo
Josh - thx for the show - absolutely enjoy your style
  • @Cheddarjrr
I'm gonna be real here: There was no need to go so hard on fucking Meat on Toast but Papa Joshua did it for us anyway. Appreciated.
