Actually blown away with the features of this mod. I was like, " oh thats cool... oh thats cool... oh thats cool... hey waittaminute..." theres SO MUCH!!!

My favorite thing about Legacy Edition was how it always felt like they were trying to make the most complete Minecraft edition, even if it was limited in a lot of ways. It had mini games that previously you had to play through third party servers, it had a tutorial, it had custom textures packs and maps to explore, it had a ton of custom skins, and a lot of other decisions like the music and graphics made Minecraft feel a lot more like a regular indie game with a ton of love. Legacy Edition stopped updating in 1.13, and to me, that's the end of a Minecraft era, in 1.14 they changed a lot of the base game, and it just wasn't the same ever again, it's great, and not necessarily worse, but it's different. I love that this version of the game is getting the appreciation that it gets, one that it hadn't gotten until it wasn't there anymore. You really don't know what you like until you don't have it. Love the video, would be great to see some more of it since I'm not really available to play it myself anytime soon. 😢

i dont think legacy edition was a nostalgia thing, i think that its actually just how minecraft should be enjoyed

Never played Console Edition. Yet, for some reason, somehow, this just feels better and more stylistically correct for Minecraft.

not gonna lie, i wouldn’t have a single problem with bedrock edition if it included the “What’s This?” feature. it’s so useful and it doesnt get ANY love at all, would totally save new players SO much time

I've been hearing so much. When I heard this was a mod, I laughed and said no way. I cried when I learned this was real. I don't think I'll be able to play java the same again

Quick correction: the lighting engine is the same, apparently the gamma slider works as a shader. My bad 😅

This video made me look back on all of my Minecraft experiences - from playing Pocket Edition on my iPod Touch, staying up all night on weekends with my friends on the PS3 Edition, to the bittersweet 2 week Realms of Java Edition - I'm super grateful for them all. Thank you for the trip down memory lane, crazy how a simple mod tutorial made me feel like this. Minecraft truly is infinite.

I seriously miss coming home from school and playing the xbox 360 edition with friends. Seeing the menus and everything made me shed a tear... Im 19 now and I wish I could go back to this time

This brought back a lot of good childhood memories. Coming home from school to go watch Stampy was the best part of my day back then. I first started playing Minecraft in 2014 on PC, but I did start playing the console edition on the Wii u in 2015. These sensations and memories are unexplainable. Something you just have to live through to understand I guess
