  • @PatrickMurphy2
Jakey: "I'm moving to New York in 2020, try and stop me." 2020: "K"
  • That “bumble, fumble, turn over” transition has me dying 😂😂

At some point Jake’s videos are just gonna be 15 minutes of him trying to tell you a joke while laughing
  • @grantmanor6642
If there's one thing to take away from this video, it's that not enough people played Max Payne 3.

Jakey: 2019 was terrible 2020: does a higher backflip
  • NakeyJakey is one of those people who are just so charismatic and charming that the candid moments where he's laughing are even funnier than his jokes. He's like the only YouTuber I would actually wanna hang out with. I just wanna get drunk and race go karts with him is that so wrong?
  • Listening to him in 2020 talk about moving to NYC and how he’s going to recover his mental health in 2020 is like watching the character in the horror movie leave their phone in the car and forget their keys while the killer looms just out of frame.

Jake talking about how much he’s gonna enjoy 2020 is the most tragic thing I’ve ever seen

Oh, that Sonichu in the opening caught me off guard. Can't even escape Chrischan in my comfort videos.

Story time. When this video was made I was freshly new at the dating app game. I spent 6 months being disappointed and grossed out by men on tinder. It had been 14 years since I last dated. It was becoming depressing and honestly down right degrading. I started noticing the trends. The lingo "here for good time not for a long time" kind of stuff. I found that profiles with lots of selfies had been the most off putting people. So I tried a new approach. Talk to the people id normally pass by. I came across a profile that had art work, someone's hand drawn sketches. I was like heck yeah, I like to draw too. Eventually a few photos in a saw a face, not a bad looking one either. Just a normal dude. He used silly pictures instead of bathroom selfies... So we matched of course, duh. He didn't hit on me (Jesus, you don't need to hit on people on dating apps. It's clear why you matched why state the stupid obvious?) We causally talked for a week or two about random ass shit. Meanwhile guys I thought I'd be into kept standing me up and just being creeps. My silly sketch dude always was consistent though. So we eventually decided to meet. He didn't drive at the time so of course I went to his house to meet him! Most people would turn there nose up at person who didn't have a car or didn't drive. Not me lol. Anyway it's 2019, we drink a few beers and watch a movie. The most my tinder match did was sit next to me on the couch. He didn't hit on me or even try anything. I was impressed. 😎 The night went on and it got late. I hugged him goodbye and drove home. Again nothing heart stoppingly amazing but also nothing scary. 🤷 We talked for another week or so before we meet up again 2019 was coming to an end in a month or so at the time. We both continued to use tinder on the side with no luck. We just both seemed to be into one another. On our second date the sparks flew and we both admitted to ourselves that we found the one. Somewhere right before 2019 ended we became exclusivel and joined forces. We found love and we both agreed tinder sucked and we couldn't believe some how we found each other in a sea of crap. Lol. We didn't know we had a freaking pandemic ahead of us to survive. Times seemed so hopeful ❤️ Anyway it's now about to be 2024 and we live together now and have a bunch of milestones under our bealts. I guess my take away is, when I decided to just give up on expectations and traits I thought I wanted is when I found someone worth talking to. It's okay to be yourself on these apps and it's okay to just bomb conversation and be weird because eventually you will find someone who finds that shit charming.

"In 2019, this peice of ** year that thankfully is about to end..."
  • I know that 2020 happened to all of us and messed everything up, but it’s sad to hear how many plans he had for 2020, yet only ended up with 3 videos and then vanishing for months after. I hope he’s okay and his return will be swell.
  • Cool listening to the Outro after he sampled it on Survival Horror. Also the foreshadowing with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in this video is crazy.

Him being hopeful about 2019 ending is the best part of this whole video, because it's just so miserably ironic
