Walk the Line - Interview with Reese Witherspoon (2005)

I think Joaquin Phoenix should have got Academy award for Walk the line. He is amazing vocally in this movie.

She under-estimates her singing ability BIG time. She has a GORGEOUS voice. Sure she had to hone it and practice a lot, but her voice is naturally BEAUTIFUL. She SO INTELLIGENT, SO articulate, SO eloquent, SO genuine, SO talented, SO down-to-earth. In a world of fakes, it's SO refreshing to listen to her speak. 😊⚘

I just watched this movie again 2020'. Super impressive that Reese and Joaquin used their own voices. I love them both! ♥️

I can't think of anyone who could have depicted the kindness and inner strength of June Carter better.

A highlight of my life was when I was 10 years old & snuck into the back door of the auditorium at the university my Dad taught at, the night Johnny Cash was performing. I stood off to the side of the stage watching. He was so tall! The was a film of a train rolling down the tracks playing behind the band. The band came off the stage and Johnny bumped into me & put his hand on my shoulder and said “ Sorry little darlin” and moved on by. I just stood there . An usher came up & asked me to take my seat & where was my ticket stub & I got bounced out almost as quick as I snuck in. I’m 60+ now & never forget that. He was indeed dressed in black.

Walk The Line is one of my most favorite movies of all time and Reese and Joaquin did the most amazing job no one else could have done it better💜💜💜💜💜

In this movie, the chemistry between Joaquin and Reece is so believable and beautiful-one would swear they were a real couple. I never looked at them as separate people but one. Their performance was magical. I have never seen that kind of connection in a movie performance before or since that time. Pure gold.

Reese Witherspoon is a great actress and I've been following her and a lot of her movies for quite some time. she is a very beautiful woman and she always plays the part that she plays in any movie she plays with inspiration and that's what separates her from a lot of other actresses

I wish Reese and Joaquin would make more movies together.

In his autobiography Johnny tells what Reese tells here. The day after his brother was buried, everyone got up and had to go to work in the fields like any other day. It's a very strong picture of what a farmer's life was like at that time and what he experienced.
