  • John sure did love June. When she was in the hospital, practically a vegetable (in a coma), Johnny would sit by her side and talk to her, read to her and sing to her. When they were going to take her off of life support, John formed a prayer circle and prayed for her. When she passed, he had her picture painted on the walls, he would stare at them. He would sit at his desk and talk on the phone, imagining June was on the other end. That's true love if I've ever heard it
  • I love when he moves out of the shot and let's her perform , thats respect and class .
  • Johnny Cash is a damaged man who was still able to find true love. Gives me hope.
  • Her voice sounds like a train whistle .She brings it from way down in her diaphragm. What a voice. Wow!!!!

Wow. This is wonderful. And after seeing the real Johnny Cash perform, Joaquin Phoenix should have won the Oscar for his performance of Johnny Cash.

June also stayed by Cash....even after his rehabilitation with drug, and alcohol issues. 30+ years. Now that...is love. I hope they are together in heaven singing together. Such a power couple. So talented both of them. I get goosebumps watching them together. Walk the line..the movie. Reese and Phoenix did an outstanding job with those characters!

I don't care what any self-righteous hypocritical people say about these two today! Johnny and June were two of the greatest singers who ever lived, and their story is inspiring. Not the Hollywood story! The story their own son and Rosanne told! Love you Johnny & June! God's peace be upon you.

June never cared for her voice. However Johnny loved her voice and wanted everyone else to love her too..

These two..... One of the great love stories of our time.

Anybody else just highly intrigued on Johnny’s feet movement? Or am i the only one that notices how smooth he is with it😅
  • You can just see the chemistry between them they really were soulmates 💕
  • No flashing lights, no auto tune, no backup singers. Just Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Legendary. WOW. June sure can sing...
  • Lost my wife 5 months ago. She was the June Carter to my Johnny Cash. He died not long after she passed, I don’t want to die, but I can understand how losing half your soul could kill you.
  • I love how the entire song is played on the neck of the guitar...

For a song written nearly 60 years ago, I still love hearing it. One of the greatest duets ever👍
