A produce truck overturned and blocked the freeway and the police wouldn’t lettuce pass.

No AM radio ?????? This is why there is a legislation to keep AM radios in new vehicles.

We passed all of that going west yesterday. Turn around and go home. You'll never get there. There was 50-70 miles of stopped traffic on 40 between Barstow and Needles. GO HOME

I was stuck there for about 5 hours yesterday. It was horrible!!! Being out there in 114-degree weather was scary 😖 Thankfully I was able to make it to a rest stop where first responders were providing Gatorade and water, and checking vitals. I was in an area where the southbound and northbound weren’t broken up by a border so once I left the rest stop I had to just count my losses with my Vegas booking and pull a U-turn to head back home southbound

There is 18 wheelers crashed between Ludlow and Needles now. Thats why she is stopped. It will be Deadly Hot at 107 Degrees today in Ludlow.

My son has Morrissey tickets for tonight, gave up driving this morning and grabbed a southwest flight out of Ontario ….. he just sent a photo of a half full plane ✈️. Makes no sense

No alternate routes, tiny freeway. Truck company and driver should be heavily penalized and be milked of money. Commercial driver’s license should be treated like gold and utmost care in driving should be observed all the time. Dash cams should be mandatory especially for these drivers.

Well lets do some figuring. A Lithium battery can burn underwater. So I'm guessing all the fire dept can do is wait for it to burn itself out.

Yesterday by 9pm the gas station in needles off the 40 e was practically out of gas. If youre planning on braving it out get extra gas before leaving barstow. There is no other easily accesible gas station after that point.

Cars can overheat sitting in 100 Plus weather.

Stuck for over 12 hours yesterday. It's insane how dangerous this has been. No food water or gas for hundreds of people

The slow-down on I-40 is because they are doing construction, and it goes down to one lane about 3 miles west of the 66!!

Just tuned in to what happened. My niece was coming back from Culver City. She still not home.

There may be a crash, but there’s also a pinch point where the westbound traffic is diverted to one lane of eastbound. That’s the real problem. The traffic started backing up at that merge and never let up, all the way back to Barstow. There were people breaking down and other things that made it worse, but this is construction related.
