What Do I Know About Chancellor Neigh Say

Chancellor Neigh-Say: an underwhelming antagonist for an otherwise decent season. But is he really all that mediocre? is Chancellor Neigh-Say underrated?!

Theme Song: Weird Al Yankovic's "Trigger Happy"

Who would have guessed that politics could play its way into kids shows like this? Being someone who typically veers away from the topic (namely because I just have a hard time understanding it), the analysis of Nay Say was something I never would have considered initially. Keep up the great content and continue to bring up topics that open my eyes like this!
  • It's certainly interesting. Though the episode could be better explained.

The only reason I ever hated Neighsay was because his ideas are poorly explained. However, this stems from one of the things I hate about the show overall: The writers intentionally wrote him to be unlikable so that the audience can only sympathise with Twilight and the students, because "racism bad". It seems like the writers are more focused on giving the audience a certain feeling rather than giving them something to think about. And given the amount of reaction videos I've seen where nine-out-of-ten people don't stop to think why he's like this and treat him with open disgust, that theory hasn't been proven wrong. Especially since when in the comments of JoshScorcher's video, when I said "Maybe he has a point" I get told by people to "Check my thinking". I see where he's coming from, but he's doing a terrible job at explaining it.
