There’s no way that woman couldn’t just open the door get out of her car. She also has a sunroof.

What would this society do and look like if there was a real emergency? Scary to think people are this helpless

Imagine having to be "rescued" from knee high water. I guess our bathtubs are extreme and scary.. sigh. This goes hand in hand with "extreme heat wave".......... of 30 degrees. lmao

Lifejacket and a zipline in knee deep still water

Was this a photo op or are those folks really that helpless?

The larger the city, the softer and more helpless the people are. In my city, the fireman would have told her to get her ass out of the car because they have real emergencies to get to.

Rescued? More like people were escorted from the car because they are unable to walk through shallow water. Car rescues usually involve the car being underwater with rushing water…

If its not snow its rain making Toronto look stupid.

Hey the water is starting to get rly deep lets keep driving

“Rescued” lmfao… yeah that looked really dangerous, wading through that calf-high barely moving water - was very important to have the firefighters there to hold your hand while you walk yourself out of the big puddle… thanks for the non-story G&M!

how did these people not just walk the same route out of their car?????

*Omg, what a waste of government services "rescuing" that lady. The water is barely up to the bottom of her door, and is LOWER than knee height! She doesn't appear to be elderly or disabled either. She should have been forced to wait, like a triage situation. This is like showing up to the emergency room with a scraped knee...AND she was literally the only one thick enough to even try that road...the driver's ed book needs desperate updating. Even though it happened to a friend's mom years ago (with the famous pic of the Ferrari stuck in water) I still find it hilarious that people drive into enormous pools expecting to be fine 😂. At least my buddy's dad had a pickup, and he went and just pushed their minivan out of the water (still had to wait until the next day before it would start). Seeing Honda Civics stuck in water up to the windows just won't get old though.

Why did she need a life jacket in such a small amount of water? 😂
