Tens of thousands of protesters rallied on Saturday against lithium mining in Serbia, despite officials' warnings of their alleged plot to topple populist President Aleksandar Vučić and his government. Afterwards, a smaller group of protesters blocked train tracks and roads in Belgrade but the protests were brought to an end late in the evening. (AP video/Radul Radovanovic)

    C'mon kids, mine that lithium. We need it for our electric vehicles and phones. Sure it's dangerous, but better than climate change, right? GTF to work!
