The Spot is actually awesome. The ability to create portals is so cool it's a shame no one takes him seriously

Fun Fact: When Miguel O'Hara talks about Earth-199999 it's the official number for Earth-616 specially the line "Doctor. Strange and his little nerd in Earth 19999." is probably referencing about the events of Spider-Man No Way Home.

Dang, I thought if anyone was going to have a strong reaction to that retcon of the MCU being Earth 19999 it'd be these guys.
  • Peter and MJ have a daughter, May Parker (nicknamed Mayday), in a few comics runs - most notably (to me, anyway) in the “Renew Your Vows” comics, which I HIGHLY recommend reading. Some of my favorite spidey books ever. I’ve been dying for mayday content in the movies for YEARS. So far beyond hyped for this movie!

The reason Miguel is so antagonistic towards Miles is because he sees his existence as a huge mistake...the spider that bit Miles was from another universe
  • Animation in a picturesque style looks great in these cartoons. Spider-Man: Through the Universes of the Bad Guys, Puss in Boots 2 and now this. Thanks to the creators ❤

So fun fact, Miles' parents usually continue living. It wasn't until Insomniac's Spider-Man to permanently kill off one of his parents, being his father. In the comics, his mother is killed by Venom, only to be rebooted later. The beauty of Miles is that because there is not a lot of history behind the character, this movie and future iterations of the character can do virtually ANYTHING they want.
  • It sucks that not one of y'all caught the MCU 199999 reference😭
  • @Blazecap
Oh man I hope In secret wars they have all three of Osscar Isaac’s marvel characters do the spider-man pointing meme
  • Firstly, I love Calvin's new hairstyle! Secondly, I love how this is pretty much completely including every single Spider-Man who's ever existed. They even chucked-in a Doctor Strange reference, which I'm guessing is a "No Way Home" reference too. I'm glad they're finally connecting these movies to the MCU and the Maguire/Garfield movies too. Finally, yet another Marvel character Oscar Isaac's playing!
  • @metalman20
i didn't think it was possible since the first movie's animation was already beyond incredible. but holy shit this looks even better. and that no way home reference was great
  • @JonahAuck
How in the world did all 4 of them not hear Miguel mention Doctor Strange and the MCU peter??
  • Wish you guys had reacted to the international trailer, it’s got a little homage to the live action spideys
  • @Ricardodiaz17762
I'm glad I don't watch any trailers after the first one. I like to be surprised when I watch a movie. This movie was soooooo good.
  • This trailer was so amazing. I loved how it had such a perfect blend of being emotional and being action packed. The way they were able to establish the main settings of the movie were great. It was so great to see whats been happening with Miles and to get a glimpse at how he is struggling to balance his personal life with Spider-Man. And I like how it seems like unlike the first movie where Miles’ parental struggles were coming from his dad, it seems like in this movie it will be with his mom. I loved being able to hear more of Oscar Isaac as Miguel O'Hara and getting to see more of Spider-Man 2099 in action. It was so cool to finally get to see The Spot, I’m interested to see what his story will be throughout this movie. Also Miguel mentioned something to do with Dr. Strange and another Spider-Man, that was definitely an MCU reference to No Way Home right?! And we got another Spider-Man pointing meme, but super wide spread this time.

The sheer desperation in Miles' face and voice when he says "...Send me back" tore my heart to pieces. I lost my dad when I was 10, and I can already tell this movie is gonna wreck me 🥲
