A Chesterfield man knows all too well what is going on behind the scenes of the investigation into the assassination attempt of former president Donald Trump. Andy Harris retired as the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Richmond Field Office of the U.S. Secret Service and he served on the protective detail for President Bill Clinton.

a taylor swift concert has better security than the secret service
  • NICE TRY! It was VERY EVIDENT what happened, they IGNORED PEOPLE TELLING THE POLICE "SNIPER ON THE ROOF"
  • An unguarded roof with a clear line of sight to the president only 115 yards away was textbook?! This guy is a joke

So you found a guy to help your cover up narrative, wonderful job.

Sir, I thank you for your many years of dedication and service to the nation as an agent. As a former 'package' protector in the green suit myself, I hate so say it, but what that team on Saturday did was not near 'Text Book'. It was an absolute travesty; a failure of proper site planning and poor actions to protect the 'package' during the incident. If me and my team ever performed that way, (when I was in the green suit) we would have faced immediate court marital trials for failing to do our Chosen Profession/ job.
  • This is not quite what other retired Secret Service Agents are saying, as I am trying to listen to many of their opinions. Literally, the rooftop that the Shooter was allowed to gain access to was the most "vulnerable" line of sight, close range and unobstructed vantage point to President Trump. One SS agent said there should have been a SS agent exactly where the Shooter was and only local law enforcement would be manning each of those buildings on the ground to prevent roof access. The SS stood down at the most vulnerable spot in this entire scenario. That's not a failure, it's much worse.
  • @ravenc4912
Does he know they knew he was on the roof multiple minutes before with a firearm
  • Did this guy see the same thing we did? How does the Secret Service allow a man with a rifle to climb up on a roof and take 7 to 8 shots at a former President? We're talking 150 yards away and an elevated position, are you kidding me? This guy is a joke, even I know that elevated positions are always a threat and I'm not in the Secret Service!
  • @Appleblade
Wow. Tough questions. Why not ask him how the security agents on the roof, with guns trained on Crooks, failed to warn the agents on stage to move Trump while they assessed the threat? Why did they shoot only after Crooks shot? Absurd news reporting, absurd retired SS agent.
  • We have more secret service officers on roofs in filmmaking than they had at that gathering.
  • @dwe4507
Really dude ... pls stay retired? Pure nonsense and propaganda
  • @UKindness4
Oh please... That roof was visible in plain sight in the walk around by a supervisor, it normally would be covered, then add in a cop was on the roof with shooter, knew he had an AR rifle and just left him there.????
  • The head of the Secret Service refused to give Trump a complete security detail.
