We're not big fans of traveling, we are home bodies and we like to piddle around the house doing our hobbies. Of course we've been on trips we've enjoyed and I'm sure will go on more in the future. Comment below and let us know if you love to travel and if so, where and all you've been. Also comment below and let us know if are like us and aren't crazy about traveling. As always, thanks for watching & God bless you!

  • You ladies aren't alone .. The old saying 'There's no place like home' holds true for a lot of us.
  • I love being at my home,I cannot express how grateful I am to have a home 🏠❤
  • @navi3325
I get soooo much flack from my friends n family for not being a “travel junkie”!! I love to be home, creating recipes and building up the garden/homestead. It’s awesome that everyone is different and we should celebrate that!
  • I had an uncle who would not travel. He was in WWII. He served in Africa, Italy, France and Germany. Maybe more. He said when he was there he swore that if he was lucky enough to make it home he would never leave again. He stayed true to that. He never left his little town in Alabama for the rest of his life.
  • What a breath of fresh air... Sick of hearing about how everyone just wants to travel
  • I am the same way now! When I was a younger woman, I rode my Harley all up and down the east coast. Many times. alone. My husband and I loved seeing new places. Now that I'm 63 and retired, I don't wake up thinking "where do I want to go today?" I wake up thinking about my garden, canning and preserving, my animals, picking blueberries and blackberries, what to cook for dinner, all the simple things. It stresses me to go to the grocery store now. Can't wait to get back HOME. God is so good, and I feel so blessed by His provision.
  • ❤❤ This is from an 84 yr. old lady who absolutely agrees with everything you said about traveling. Love and blessings to you both.
  • Travel by plane is nothing like it used to be. It used to be special and people treated it as such, dressing nicely and behaving. Now planes are generally cattle-cars in the sky. IMO. I like to travel, but TOTALLY get what you're saying and share similar feelings about all you mentioned. I wish there were more people like your people. THANK YOU for this, girls. I absolutely enjoy hearing y'all!!! 💓 🙌🏼

Im an Introvert. And I love it. My home all to myself ❤❤❤

i DON'T travel because i'm a TOTAL HOMEBODY!!!!!! i'm perfectly happy in my home 🏡!!!!!
  • My family lives in Panama City Florida and I am in S.C.born and raised in the Upstate of S.C. about 20 miles from western NC. I was always so happy to come around the curve and see my horse's on the pasture, and I would be in tears when I saw my home. I'm so happy to hear that I'm not the only one who feels like this. I ❤️ you girls and your honesty about your likes and feelings.

Traveling is exhausting, expensive, stressful. All that prepping, packing and unpacking. I especially dislike airports; they are so stressful, especially since 9/11. I lost my husband in the airport on the way to Jamaica. I cried. Lol. Travelling by vehicle feels like it takes forever. It’s difficult, if not impossible, to take your pets😢 It’s hard on children. I travelled in the 80’s by air and it was sooooo much nicer then. I am sorry you girls missed that time. I am 62 now and I love being home, sitting in front of the TV and watching The Pressley Girls and Celebrating Appalachia. I travel to North Carolina every time I watch you and it is wonderful. ❤❤❤❤

I love being home. For the most part, groceries and church is plenty of traveling for me. At age 30 I've only been on four holidays and perhaps one will be nice now, but for the most part I love my desk, my bed, by books and my garden.
  • The older I’ve gotten, the state of crime, etc the less I enjoy traveling and I enjoy being at home. I have my head on a swivel just going to local stores etc. Katie I agree with you 100% with your feelings about the subject. You both are awesome.
  • I'm a home body too. I've had some awful travel experiences and I so enjoy just staying home especially nowadays with so many wackadoos out there. Everyone has their own opinion and I thank you for sharing yours. God bless.😊
  • Used to travel, via plane, for two weeks out of each month for work. . I did this for a number of years. I have traveled all throughout the United States and some in Europe. All included multiple days in hotels . That being said, as the old song says. You'll find your Castle in Spain neath your window pane back in your own back yard. You'll find your happiness lies right under you eyes, back in your own back yard. Katie , you ain't no baby. You're a strong woman that knows her own mind and your viewers love you for it. Love you girls ❤❤
  • I’m glad that there are two other people like me! I have always felt like a weirdo, but I hate traveling in this busy world. I have nerves like a rabbit. I love the destination, but I hate the getting there.
  • @Texan_Gal
I totally relate. My tiny home is my favorite place to be 😌
  • As I get older, I can totally relate to staying home and restricting travel. I love to hear the two of you talk. Truly enjoyed watching this video. Keep up the good work.
  • I LOVE to TRAVEL, but I’m also a major HOMEBODY! Sounds like a contradiction but for me it means I’m happy at home, I’m an introvert, I love baking, cooking, gardening, crafting… all things done at home. But I sure enjoy seeing new places, love road-trips, flying, trains, cruises, camping, renting nice vacation homes, staying in plush hotels… Lol I LOVE IT! Btw, I usually travel alone and so I only go when & where I want when weather is just right and everything lines up easy breezy. I carry a peacemaker when I’m not taking public transit.
