For at least a decade a now, our family has tried to use Natural Medicine as much as possible. To us, Natural Medicine considers mind, body and soul as one rather than separate. We believe through diet, lifestyle, scriptural health and herbal medicine we can heal most of our ailments. Western Medicine has it's time and place and we are very grateful for it.

  • Back in the late 60s i used to visit an old lady in our town. She was into health foods and she had a garden. She would always welcome me in and invite me to have some tea after we visited her garden. She mixed flowers in the vegetable garden and she had bird feeders and baths and wind chimes and a bubbling fountain. Then we had tea from a lovely old teapot and she shared her common sense approach to life. If I came to her depressed and weary, she always gave me hope. That was health care to me! Now I am an old lady and have a garden. Thank you forever Nana Smith!

I’m 28, and it’s always enjoyable to see others my age that are a little more “old fashioned” than most🤪 I love vintage stuff, and natural remedies. I started a medicinal garden last year. I’ve been able to cope with anxiety and adrenal fatigue with the help of my natural doctor. Praise the Lord!🙏🏼 God bless you both!

I'm seventy years old and only use a naturopath doctor. I use no pills and ride my bike, walk five miles, row my kayak etc. on a regular basis. No health problems. I saw her last week and she told me I'm healthier than 99 percent of her students. Diet, herbs, and exercise...plus steering free of toxic environments has kept me out of the MD office. Son is a medical doctor. He and his family are always sick and on anti depressants....even some of the kids. God has a way that's better....natural health. Try fasting too ..or intermittent fasting
  • It's nice that you are doing this at such a young age because when menopause hits, you'll be ahead of the game!

Love you ladies, yall have great videos. I'm 70 years old, take no meds, stay physically active working in my garden and shop, eat whatever tastes good and don't worry about anything. My opinion is the number one detriment to people's health is STRESS. I do what I can and let God take care of everything else.
  • The land...God will prevail!im 77 years old but i have 2 strokes &.pacemaker! Over weight but one day at a time to help fighting diseases!its helping with healthpatic❤

This is great that you’re sharing this. We are exposed to poison approved by the fda all day everyday. It’s so hard to eat clean but doing the best you can more often is a great place to start.
  • As a nurse, I believe in both. Friends, You do what you feel is best for you. God bless you both, your a blessing!

Happy April Fools Day! I have a craving for fresh cornbread today -- skillet cornbread or cornbread muffin.
  • @Dougeb7
Spot-on video, girls. I practice most of the things you mentioned, and it works, for me anyway. I used to take meds for gout, diabetes, and high blood pressure. After about 6 months I was able to get off them all. Glad to hear you're both taking good care of yourselves. Thanks, and God bless!
  • This is so right on! I changed my diet to a whole food plant based diet 3 years ago at 57 years old and now at 60 I’m at my healthiest. When I say whole food I mean non or minimally processed food not the company. I love your family because you eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and you grow your own. Since I started eating this way I am no longer diabetic, no fatty liver, no inflammation and no longer hypertensive. My doctor is thrilled because I’ve also lost 90 pounds with out even trying! I don’t exercise very much unfortunately but the weight still came off. I have a treadmill so I’m gonna begin with 10 minutes a day and work more in gradually. My doctor took me off all my medication because I no longer needed them and my blood pressure pills were making me dizzy because I no longer needed them. There’s a good book out there called How Not To Die and another called How Not To Diet both by Dr Michael Gregor MD. I really enjoy your videos and bantering. Love to you and your family ❤️

It’s great that you both are taking such good care of yourselves. Small changes can make a big impact when it comes to your health. Remember you are what you eat.
  • Thank you girls for sharing. You guys are young, but I think it is your culture and how you were raised, in many aspects, that helped make you wiser than a lot of your peer group.

Girl’s y’all are very wise for your young age. Thank You for being you!! ❤❤
  • I quit eating sugar and processed foods a few years ago and I use butter, coconut oil and olive oil. My fibromyalgia went away. I've tried to find a holistic dr but haven't been successful. My dr is always trying to give me flu, pneumonia and shingles vaccines every time I see him, I always feel like I have to defend how I'm taking care of my body. I'm glad you girls are strengthening your bodies.
