It's possibly the only love song in the World inspired by the Woolston area of Southampton. An area that is on the east side of the city and was traditionally known for it's ship building heritage.
Now the times have changed, the shipyards have closed and have been knocked down and replaced by high rise flats and coffee shops...
The song was written after I stood beneath the imposing Itchen Bridge on a Summers day and the words and melody seemed to whisper themselves into my ear as I watched the water ebb and flow...
