Hank is a Martin D-28 and not a D-45. Roscoe just misspoke like we all do sometimes. Lets not make a big deal out of it.
  • I read about Neil owning Hank's guitar a few years ago....the best dream I ever had, was that I met Neil Young. I mentioned how cool it was that he owned Hank's guitar. Before I knew it, he came back and handed me the guitar to play. I started crying as I strummed those strings. I woke up. It was a good dream.

I just love hearing stories where people are happy. We need an awful lot more to balance the noise in the world!

in part Eric, him speaking , reminds me of Neil Young [tone and intonation] in the fashion he speaks, and the way he uses his voice.

This was the best Neil Young story yet! Thank you!
  • I saw Neil Young on a TV show, where he was surrounded by about 9 different acoustic guitars, and each song he played, he used a different guitar. Each one gave a completely different tone, sound and vibe. Talk about a Master. Neil is the Ninja of the accoustic guitar.
  • Neil Young is more than a musician he is an artist and not for the faint of heart.
  • Ah! Great story! Thank you, Otis! 🙏 Much thanks to "Roscoe" for the great story. Love me some Neil Young 💛🤍 Be good to you! 🤍💛
  • Thanks Otis! Great Neil stories, so real. Eric is hilarious and he knows how to paint a picture! One of your best✌ " They asked me to stay, I gotta stay..."
  • The best, most honest and heart felt music related video on YouTube. SO GREAT that you captured this and posted for the world. KUDOS OTIS!

Thanks for this story. I've been following Roscoe for a while, after hearing his wife's tape recording Blood on the Tracks (see also Mary Lee's Corvette). I just loved the ending of the story. Now...off to find some Ohio Blue Tip matches and Crooked Line. Cheers.
  • I really miss my D-28. ❤️ Best acoustic guitar I every owned.
