  • I had the worst parents. It made me stronger. I had no one to rely on but myself. Made me stronger.
  • @mR-dc4oq
Barbara is so relatable. She never lost that with all the money she worked so hard to accumulate. That’s a blessing.
  • Very inspiring. I'm starting over after divorce at 64. Barbara gave me a sense that I might have a talent I can use to make this next life chapter better than I imagined.
  • Barbara is such a humble person and Erika is a great host, lawyers always know the right questions to ask 🤣
  • I love Barbara’s perspectives, she’s honestly so smart, and probably someone great to work with. Thanks for the interview Erika!
  • Both Erika and Barbara are such an inspiration. They started small and look at where they are today!
  • Wonderful talk! To get my first professional job I offered to work for free just to get some training, while still working 2 other part time jobs. That was the consequence of letting the wrong guy choose me and daring to walk around with a big belly at the age of 16, and then having to support both he and my child. My mishap and consequence therefore drove me, for like you Barbara, I was insulted by family stating they were surprised to see me even graduate. (I now have a handsome son, a beautiful DIL and 5 grandchildren and a second-chance husband of almost 30 years.) I learned anything and everything I could at any job to gain knowledge and to make myself indispensable. Now I’m basically debt free, earn a good living, have a solid asset & retirement portfolio. But I’ve also learned the importance of sewing into the kingdom and helping others, for you always reap what you sew. It’s important to give back. (I could go on and on…..) Thank you Lord! I love real. I love relatable. I have grown from this talk and you have confirmed something for me Barbara. Thank you both for sewing into my life. So much respect for you. Can’t imagine any haters coming against either of you. Hugs 🤗

  • The rising interest rate can surely control inflation, but won't prevent erosion of the eroding purchasing power of the US dollar. I have learnt my lesson this time. The banks can't be making money off my money, while inflation eats into it. I have set aside 650k to invest in the stock market now, since that keeps up with inflation, but I don't know how to get started.
  • What a fabulous human! I had no idea how interesting and inspiring Barbara is. I loved every story and listened to each minute. I love her perspective on leading and encouraging folx to do what they are good at, helping to grow their best skills. So nice to hear her honesty about parenting and her own finances!
  • @ygonzaga
Barbara I love that shirt. I hope you interview her again. She’s amazing. Blunt and honest. “The curse of a learning disability is if you can get over it you have gotten really good at failure. You grow up and knowing what failure is about.” I’ve never thought about it that way. That statement truly impacted me. A statement I will never forget. I’ll have to get Tic Tock now hahahaha “You just have to make a fool of yourself”. Barbara, I want to be like you when I grow up.
  • Good to see a different side of Shark Tank Barbara. She's one of the good ones. Love that she showed up in your podcast and supporting women entrepreneurship.
  • @elaib5438
Thank God this channel was recommended to me by youtube. Love the conversation between barbara and erica. Got goosebumps when barbara said " you are stronger than you think you are". Thank you to both of you for giving me hope in this crazy life of mine. ❤
  • That was such an inspiring interview. You both had such great chemistry. I feel like I learnt a lot. Especially about the power of not giving up on yourself!
  • Excellent interview!! You’re so relaxed, so prepared, and you seem to be enjoying your guest! I’m subscribing and anxious to watch your next video!!
  • @allig929
Wow this interview was amazing shes incredible it made me emotional about that burning ambition coming from nothing and wanting to make it hit me. What great advice shes so relatable and humble!!!
  • Wow, what an inspiring story! Barbara Corcoran's journey is a true testament to the power of hard work, determination, and smart investing. Her success is a reminder that it's never too late to start building wealth and creating the life you want. Thank you for sharing this video!
  • I love this so much! GREAT job Erika! I took 1500 and starting a 25 million dollar business a year - in 6 years. My business was then acquired for 8 figures by the age of 29! It was worth the grind!
  • Soo cool! I so identify myself with Barbara in many ways. Made me cry when she said she doesn’t invest in rich kids. I’ve been thinking to myself so much that I have a long road to catch up only getting to the level where the rich kids start and this has gave me some validation to accept my situation.
