It still my dream to someday visit new york, exploring bookstore and place Holden Caulfield visited, and reading a book in central park. But here I am, living in third world country, rural areas, strugling to find a job amidst this broken job market lol

I also saw other videos featuring other NYC Bookstores such as Posman Books, McNally Jackson Bookstore, Book Culture, Books Of Wonder, Books Are Magic. Also there is a new bookstore in NYC, that I found through Mary H.K. Choi, called Yu & Me Books. ๐ฝ

Thanks for the tour. I was recently in The Strand and Barnes & Noble at Union Square. The Strand shelves were depleted. This was downstairs. I asked what happened? They said they had been renting out whole sections to businesses and the theater for show. The astronomy, sciences, and philosophy sections were depleted. Barnes & Noble in these same subject areas were depleted as well. Very sad. I have been going into these stores for years. I live in Queens, NYC.

Was the entrance to the new York public library through a reservation? Or u can just walk in and look around

If I had Bill Gates-level money, I'd love to walk in to the Argosy or Bauman and when they ask "Can we help you find anything?" drop a giant duffel bag loaded with $10,000 bundles of cash, unzip it and say "Why YES you can!"
