The heads/CEOs took paycuts in order to maintain workplace retention and unit cohesion? Wallstreet CEOs shake in their 10 million dollar boots at the very thought. Well done Keith and Zach.
-
I really appreciate how quickly they are putting things on YouTube after they've been on 2nd Try. It really shows they still appreciate the fans who can't afford or choose not to subscribe.
-
This may seem minor but one thing I’ve always appreciated about Try Guys videos is that they’re ALWAYS CC friendly. Someone has taken time to edit all the auto-generated subtitles for all these videos. It makes a huge difference for people (like myself) who have disabilities that make hearing or understanding voices hard to read sentences instead of one-by-one words that have no punctuation. Especially on rapid-fire videos like this one. Thank you so much!!
-
Something important to note it that YouTube and the algorithm was actively working against their view count during their "fuck it" era. None of their videos showed up in homepage, or reccomended. As someone that watched Try Guys with every new episode, the fact I had to actively search them out every videp drop was insane.
-
Didn't know Eugene was helping out even though he was supposed to leave a long time ago. Thank you all for creating such a wonderful channel
-
The "Fuck It" Era really was the best Era in a long time, even if the numbers say otherwise! Go kick ass guys, we're all behind you and rooting for you! I love the behind the scenes looks
-
I’m honestly just glad you addressed that Eugene is only leaving the “Talent” part but that he is still apart of the company and ownership
-
In all honesty, it was such a smart move for the try guys to document the whole journey for launching 2nd Try and be SUPER communicative with their audience about the behind the scenes stuff. Imo that’s what set this launch apart from Watcher for example
-
They didn't answer the really important question. Did Keith get his dishwasher fixed? Hopefully Keith will post an update like Zach did when donut drama broke his dishwasher.
-
"MR. DROPOUT!" "Please, Mr. Dropout is my father's name" Sam Reich is a national treasure
-
Every time Zach wears that purple cloud sweater I just think he’s naked with paint on 😂😂😂
-
Take paycuts and restructure the whole company in order to prevent layoffs? HELL YEAH.
-
Marissa's divorce cake sold me on her forever!! 😂
-
The greatest move that you pulled of is ask Sam Reich for advice. It made you find you identity again.

I totally can see where people are coming from when they think this is just a cash grab, but honestly the Try Guys have reached a level of quality where their work is worth a few bucks a month. I love all the cast members and even the production crew personalities are hilarious. It feels good to me that for $5 I can get content I'll definitely enjoy and help support the careers and livelihoods of this incredible group. And knowing that the content will eventually be released free on YouTube just shows that they do care about the people who can't afford to subscribe to the service, none of their longtime supporters are being cut off from the new content entirely. Keep it up you all, and I can't wait to see the chaos and hilarity that comes from 2nd Try in the coming months!
-
Eugene expressing his sentiments while wearing a classy slutty angel costume is the most Eugene thing ever. We love you forever, man!
-
I keep saying, creative people cannot keep making the same art all through their lives. We all as people evolve and by nature, artists more so. We got 10 wonderful years or Eugene as a Try Guy, not we have to let go of this version of him to get so many wonderful new projects from him. As for 2nd Try, the new cast is so damn FABULOUS!!!! I am so pumped for this new era!
-
the stomping triceratops logo is SO CUTE! I love that the triceratops has always been a symbol for the Try Guys 😊
-
I didn’t expect to instantly tear up when Zach described Eugene as one of the great collaborate of his life”
-
I must confess I was one of the people who fell off watching a few years back (like 6 months before le scandal) and have had a hard time trying to get back in to the groove of watching. Maybe this will be the perfect restart point for me to get back in to it! I respect how well this has been handled! Contacting people like Sam at Dropout and Smosh to handle the different changes is totally the right way to do it!
