Legolas is so magnificent, taking those shots and jumping at the horse like that is top notch
-
Legolas firing shots before everybody comes it's so fucking badass I mean, the angle, the music, the sound the arrow makes when fired, 10/10
-
Rez up looks incredible. one thing i loved about the LOTR series is that they didnt shy away from the tough shots. they doubled down on them. following the action thru, never cutting away.
-
I really love Gamling's bravery. After Hama's death he become one of Theoden's top commanders and fearlessly charge into battle without a second thought.
-
1:52 My favorite shot of the whole scene. The banner flying towards danger, the call of duty to protect the innocent, the amazing music, and the stare between Aragorn/Eowyn worth a 1000 words. Perfection
-
2023 and it still holds up as well as it did 20 years ago
-
2:35 i love this when the music stops just as the charges collide, leaves the battle open and raw to the viewer - letting them enjoy the cinemetography.
-
This is one of the most underrated scenes in the whole trilogy. The people of Rohan are the real heroes in this story
-
What I love about LOTR is that the non-heroes don't feel like NPCs. You see the Riders of Rohan actually killing Wargs and fighting back and not just being fodder while the main protagonists do everything.
-
Damn. Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli were a such a strong team. If they hadn't been with them, they would've died just like Theoden's son.
-
The scenery, the music, the battle, the romance man this scene and the rest of the lotr trilogy is perfect
-
Three greatest films I’ve ever seen. 20 years old already, crazy.
-
Legolas fearlessly looking at the orc army and shooting arrows might be my favorite scene in all of films 😀😀
-
Considering when this film was made, it’s one of the best trilogies to ever have been made in the history of movie making
-
Brah this part of this movie 🍿 still gives me goosebumps bruh when legolas firing the arrows the music 🎶 in the background for Rohan!!!! I love lord of the rings 💍
-
2:16 I still can’t wrap my head around how Legolas got on that’s horse 😂
-
What I love about this scene is that it proves that Theoden had a point when it came to Helm's Deep. While going to Helm's Deep was still a mistake, his worst fears of his people being picked off in the open were justifiable. That nightmare very nearly came true just with Saruman sending a small Warg army.

This is one of my favorite scenes from LOTR. It shows “Real men will take full responsibility and do what they can do to protect their communities no matter what”
-
I like the way Lagolas climbing on that horse love from South Africa

geez, these are still the best looking orcs and wargs I've ever seen in any movie, show or video game. Absolutely terrifying
