His best moments from the Peter Jackson, Hobbit trilogy.
I know his story in the movies in greatly changed from the book the hobbit movies are based on. But still i always thought he was the coolest character from The Hobbit Trilogy.
I have great respect for all the people that were involved in designing this character and bringing him to life. In this compilation video i want pay homage to the character and the people that worked on it.

Azog did nothing wrong. Aside from fighting someone on a frozen lake with a big ass brick and chain.

Sauron in LOTR was everyone's enemy, Azog was Thorin & Company's. I prefer the idea of a tangible villain, an actual rival to the heroes.

dunno why they hate the hobbit series. they maybe at as good as the original trilogy but still not hateable

I think James Cameron took some inspiration from this character when he brought back Colonel Quaritch as an Avatar. The Navi version of him resembles Azog in the sense that he is extremely violent, vengeful and more humanoid than the other Navi.

Unpopular opinion, but I don't care. I LOVED Azog as a CGI orc and I think the artists absolutely nailed his appearance. He looked realistic and he looked menacing. He could have had a physical make-up and a costume instead, like the orcs in LotR, but CGI just worked as well in this case. For me.
