This is why I love Daily Dose of Internet. The context he provides isn’t enough to transform the video clips, and even with credit to the creators, it’s not enough to make it okay that he’s monetized. What makes it okay is that he contacts the creators and PAYS for the video clips.

Thank you for fighting content theft! My videos also get stolen and reposted on a daily basis (99% of the time with no credit, sometimes the thief even tries to take credit for the content). I've been getting them taken down but it's so time consuming and never-ending, by the time one gets taken down 3 new ones pop up, it's exhausting. And my channel isn't even that big! For anyone who thinks that these reposts somehow "help" creators and give them "exposure," - they don't, as a creator you gain NOTHING from it. In this day and age it's extremely rare for anyone to look up a creator they saw on some random page, people just don't care. I've seen reposts of my stuff with millions of views, NO mention of my name and not one of the thousands of comments asking who the original creator is. It's up to us to keep fighting this.
