context for the social repose video: from what i remember he was dating Jacklyn Glenn at the time and cheated on her, and she made the video titled “im an idiot”. in it, she’s basically berating herself and genuinely crying because she’s so upset at him and also herself for believing he would be kind and loyal to her because apparently he had a bad reputation even before they started dating. the social repose video is basically just him saying “yeah you should’ve seen it coming tbh” and not really taking any blame

I’m very surprised the council didn’t include a quote from Sienna Mae’s “apology video”. If you don’t know about it, look it up. It’s probably the most tone deaf response video/apology ever and it’s best if you see it without any spoilers. It’s a masterpiece and a burning dumpster fire all in one.

I wasn’t going to forgive them initially, but then they said they’d be back tomorrow with just a clothing drop. And that really spoke to me, so I forgave them.

If they ever do something like this again, they should put the relevant clips on the right answer slide, so that they (and the audience) can see/hear them!
