This poor lady, still working hard at 74, and sharing the platform with people high on drugs or simply mentally ill with no impulse control. BART needs to keep two armed officers on the platforms 24/7. She should have been able to commute home from work without having to fear for her life. May her soul rest in peace, and God comfort her family.

I watched an elderly man get pushed to the edge of Lake Merritt by young black boys on bikes. No one reacted to help. I'm in a wheelchair and grey haired. I yelled and made sure the kids heard me😢

It does not matter how many police are being put on to patrol the area, public safety will still be in jeopardy as long as all the bump and homeless are not banned and cleared from all public services.
