I just really love Ryan Gosling performance. Though I’m sure it wasn’t his biggest acting challenge, the subtle facial expression and sense of humor was perfect and endearing. I never really focused on him till this but he is really the heart of the film .

This movie is really the gift that keeps giving. It has so many layers, so many details that you discover when you see a scene for a second/third time. It’s silly and ridiculous and it’s nostalgic and sweet and it’s moving and smart. The casting is amazing. The actors are genuine and humble. The music is fabulous, as are the dance scenes. It just makes me smile.

Gosling’s portrayal as Beach Ken was absolutely incredible. I love watching his performances. He really hit this one out of the park. Great casting from Greta Gerwig.
