Explosion at Yellowstone sends tourists scrambling

A portion of of Yellowstone National Park has been shut down after officials say a hydrothermal explosion scattered debris and destroyed a nearby boardwalk that visitors were standing on. KTLA's Chris Wolfe reports on July 23, 2024.

    Imagine being oblivious enough that you are still standing close to what you don't know is a gaseous fume explosion....if any of those were caustic, superheated, etc., that would be a painful few days.

    They are playing it down here in Utah and Idaho, saying it happens all the time.... Oh yeah.... We've had cell cameras everywhere for over 15 years now and we see this all the time... Move along... Nothing to see here... 🥺 🌋
