Story time!

Back when I first made the fixed loop of My Burden is Light, I had just gotten into the Hollow Knight fandom! I discovered (and promptly fell in love with) the Hollow Knight ambience videos by Rusty shortly thereafter. I wondered how My Burden is Light would sound if it were slowed down, so I threw the last project into Audacity and slowed it down to 25% speed, and this came out!

It doesn't feature the cool game sound effects like Rusty's ambience videos do, but I hope y'all enjoy this ambience video :D

Also, I might start doing gaming content at some point... let me know in the comments if you'd be interested in seeing that :D

The amazing thing about OneShot's music is that it isn't "exceptionally good" when you blindly hear it. It sounds like just some generic game soundtrack, you think nothing of it and move on if you only hear the music. But if you have played the game, and you hear the soundtrack, you just feel so attached to it. It's so unique I can't fully describe it. OneShot is one of the few games I went into playing (mostly) blind, and that was one of the best decisions that I have ever made.

So beautiful.. it reminds me of my best friends house, how I would look our their window and see the leaves rustling and shining with the morning sunlight. It was do peaceful, since I usually woke up earlier than the others. Very still.. very quiet. Thank you for reminding me of this beautiful memory with your amazing music ^^ have a great day

Just finished the Solstice playthrough today. Wow that was amazing, I loved it.
  • I’m going to start playing Oneshot very soon. I already know the whole story, Solstice included, because I watched my brother playing it while I was younger. But the game was such a masterpiece that I need to experience being the one behind the wheel. See you soon, Niko.

After completing the solstice ending, this song has a new meaning. Very sad indeed.

This is so comforting, but also sort of sad
  • I love the that name . Her burden is light , but light as well represent for the hope and goal people want to achieve . Light is also the best friend who lead your way through out the darkness , no one else expect the player .

I'm a little... 6 months late, but I remember my friend lives in canada, came down to where I live in the first time in a while, got him into this game. Me and him agreed it was 100% worth the entire car trip.

Gonna use this to study. Its nice to study listening to something that sounds familiar but different at the same time. I guess thats what remixes are for.

I sound like a broken record after reading all these comments 😅 but this truely is amazing. I have adhd and a few other disorders but this is able to calm me down enough to focus when im sprialing. Thank you for making this, much love.
  • Two simple words. WARNING: MAJOR ONESHOT ENDING SPOILERS, IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE TRUE ENDING, GIVE THIS COMMENT A MISS "Goodbye Niko." That fucking broke my heart. Post-Solstice runs are never the same, because it's not Niko. He's the thing that tied the entire story together, and without him, Oneshot becomes nothing more than a game; "a recording" of what it once was. It's honestly fucking brilliant how a game can be completely changed by the substitution of one simple thing. I miss Niko. Fuck.
