Today I am trying out art supplies I bought from Temu - is it just like Wish ? The art supplies are super cheap and I’ve tried art supplies from Wish in the past - but Temu is brand new and I’m curious if it’s any good!

  • Just wanted to say thank you for not glorifying or shaming shopping on sites like these! I’ve had creators shame people that buy off shein but it’s literally all I can afford 😅 I appreciate you understanding different people are in different financial situations!! 🖤🖤

Panduro is like the standard go to hobby store in Scandinavia. So I'm not surprised the quality is alright. I have almost bought their markers, but decided not to since they weren't brush tippex

I recently ordered from Temu. Not everything is a bargain, Amazon can be cheaper too. So shopping around and looking is a must. I was not upset over the quality. It took 2 weeks to receive.
  • From Aliexpress I bought a super cute tiny box knife that is shaped like a carrot, and I call it my "danger carrot" lmao. It's been serving me very well for opening boxes for about a year now!!
  • One of the BIGGEST differences between Temu and WISH is S&H. Wish charges for each item individually whereas Temu doesn't. Also, overall, the expectation vs reality of items is far better. Aaaand it doesn't take months to receive your items. Also if it does take longer than expected they'll give you like a $5 dollar credit. The last time I ordered I was also able to claim like a $2 credit because some of the items I bought had gone down in price from when I ordered them, although I kind of stumbled upon that and had to activate it, so to speak.. ie it wasn't just automatic. . So, Temu is similar to Wish in a sense but way better, in my opinion.
  • In Central Europe, we have a chain called "Action" which sells sometimes pretty good beginner art stuff for dirt cheap. It's literally if wish (and clones) had a brick and mortar store. I love going there for art stuff I never use but won't break my bank like a normal art store would.

Those blender things are used a lot with Pan Pastels! They're big pastel 'cakes' that you can either use to make entire works of art or you can use them to create big backgrounds. I use them to lay down big base areas of color before going in with colored pencil! I've bought a few things from Temu and found the quality of what I ordered to be better than Wish. Most of my stuff from Temu actually came in branded packaging too instead of just thrown in a mailer bag! I've gotten some cute Sanrio stuff and desk organizer things from there.
  • The tree in Van Gogh's painting starry night is a cypress trees commonly planted in grave yards, the painting has a different meaning to it when the grave yard tree is looming over the town ☺️ I enjoyed watching this video ❤️

I think the silicone mat would also be good for resin crafters.

Panduro is like THE Art Store in Sweden, was rly shocked to see their products here 😮

The other thing about Temu is that they do free returns and often just refund you the money. They also ask for reviews on everything you purchase from them. If your review isn’t positive, they offer you a refund, making them a reliable source. I have purchased clothing, art supplies and various household goodies, my husband complains about picking my orange bags from the post, but loves some of the handy stuff.

I’ve found that another cheap way of blending graphite and charcoal is by using eye shadow brushes. Even cheap ones from the dollar store do the job just fine. And they’re easily replaceable too.

As a Dutch person, I love how you said Van Gogh almost correctly the first time and then corrected yourself wrong the same way most English speakers say it 🥲 (no shame, foreign names can be hard to pronounce and Dutch g's are known to be the harder sounds). Also wonder if you could repurpose the blender holders as palette knife type of things?

Never heard of Temu, but Panduro is a art/hobby store here in Sweden (somewhat on the expensive side). Think it was founded late 50ies - early 60ies (or something like it). They have recently (some years ago) gotten some items branded and some with their name but also some together with like brands like Pebeo (at least that is what it say on some acrylic tubes that I have). I know they used have onlinestore in the uk but its closed now.

I'm going to be honest, I'm not having the best of times right now and this week has just been horrible. I just entered to YouTube to get my mind away from everything, and Chloe somehow managed to bring a smile to my face after a long week. I'm so grateful that people like you exist, that are funny and full of joy. Thank you!
  • @Zeldur
14:50 I hope you didn't throw it away yet. Unless the housing broke, the blade is supposed to snap. You can get replacement blades
  • I’ve made a few separate orders with Temu and have been really happy with about 95% of the items I purchased. I bought a few separate things of metallic watercolors that I absolutely love which have probably been one of my fave things I ordered.
  • @debiulmer3672
I have brought from Temu six times now and I am happy with about 95% of everything I have purchased and the 5% I don’t like I just drop off at the charity shop. So it’s a win-win.
  • I love Temu. I've ordered from them at least 4 times this year. Lots of art stuff & clothes for my preteen.

13:01 I saw these in one of drawing wiff waffles video where she unboxed the paletteful box and in her video she used them with the pan pastels I think these things are for pan pastels The title of the video was “this paper is fuzzy? Unboxing paletteful packs velour paper and pastels” (in case you wanna check out)😊
