How does this person, who has gotten more art boxes than any other person on earth, and makes art videos for a living, have only one drawer of art supplies?
  • @SoCraftastic
Yay!! You got one!! It's so fun to watch how differently everyone organizes their DreamBox. I have a tinnyyy section of oil paints in mine that I never even tried...
  • When you said “cheaper supplies i don’t use often” or mentioned the foam-brushes, my decluttering brain went off immediately and I wanted to mention, that if anyone feels like sizing down their art stash, donating these items to kindergartens, pre-shools and/or schools is a really good option. Also fabrics, buttons, clay… just be sure to call them first! :)

As someone who likes a wide range of hobbies I have always wanted this … however the price unfortunately just stops the dream. I do feel like organizing your art supplies makes you use them more. I’ll be roaming through my stuff and come across goodies that I forgot about. It was be awesome to be able to see everything and have everything at your finger tips. Also I have a feeling this will stop you from buying more foam brushes! I’ll definitely keep this in the back of my mind when it comes time to redo our home.

I appreciate your honesty about how this product is a luxury. And I am glad you got one! It really is the crafters dream! Thanks for sharing!
  • I have a Dreambox,, purchased about 3 years ago. I absolutely love it. We bought the build yourself version which took my husband about 8 hours to put together. I’ve moved it around a few times into different rooms and it’s still as good as new. I use the back of the outer door to store my metal dies, attached to the door using magnetic sheets. One thing Chloe didn’t mention is that the table is dual height, so you can set it up to work at different heights. I’m in the UK, so mine was shipped from the company’s European warehouse. The only con I’ve found is that I’m still rearranging my shelves 3 years later! x
  • A tip for organizing pencils: Get one of those taller containers and fill it with cups, then you organize your pencils standing up. You can separate each cup by colour or brand. That way it is easier to find the colour you want because you can actually see every pencil at the same time

I told my brother what I was watching, and he said, “that’s totally up your alley!”…he’s not wrong…I love my art supplies and it’s nice to have them organized so you know where everything is! I appreciate that you labeled them!

I’ve actually never seen a dream box until this video. I love it! Right now, my craft supplies are stored basically wherever, and I forget half of what I have, because it’s hidden somewhere. It’s definitely out of my price range right now, but maybe someday!
  • The honesty you shared with how long takes to organize, how overwhelming the start of an organizing projection be, and the struggle of making adjustments as you found more supplies was really helpful to someone that watches people organize and dreads it because they make it look so easy. Thank your transparency. It'll help me next time I get frustrated trying to organize.

My favourite part was actually you sitting on top of the box taking a picture and then also proving to us like any other artists that you would have artist supplies everywhere in your house pulling out more and more and more and explaining it actually took days and days and days to organize it.
  • @EerieSquiggs
This is bigger than my apartment and over twice the monthly rent lol, but it's really cool! It was really cool to see just how much fits in it (and its fun watching how people organize differently). Honestly love the tiny vertical spots, like where you have your pigments/white gel pens.
  • @lillien2616
Fiiiinally being able to see someone truthfully interact with that organizer. I’ve been curious for years now! Thx for this detailed review 👌
  • I'm glad to see a review from someone I trust to tell the truth about it! Since I first saw the dreambox I've wanted one, but was stopped both by expense and by the fact it literally won't fit in my room xD I did buy their pen/marker organizer and the paper organizer though!
  • I never heard of the Dream Box, but wow...that is such a pratical furniture unit. Finally being able to put every single art supply in one furniture would be a dream come true. The price tho is understandable super high. Half of my furniture i own now, would cost like one dream box. I don't even wanna know what the shipment would cost to Europe (if they do that). Maybe someday I will get one! :D
  • As a artist who is literally using a big tote bin and part of my closet to store my art supplies this would come in handy. I don't even have a designated work surface. I literally use my kitchen floor or I use my coffee table. Then I realize how messy I am because there's paint all over my kitchen floor lol. Luckily my husband is understanding as long as I don't use the coffee table for painting.
  • I wonder if I can build one by myself using repurposed wood or something. Should make for a nice project!
  • As a proud owner of one of these beauties, I can tell you that it took me three days to build from scratch. It took a lot of saving and was a labor of love. I SO appreciate that all of my art supplies are in one place and nice and tidy. So glad you got one of these and that you enjoy it!
  • @LysolMyFace
It’s really cool to see people making products that are so customisable and specifically for artists by artists. And the price makes sense with this and where it’s made considered. This is so cool and I’ve been enjoying following Jazzas journey with the art bag he’s designing. This looks like it would be so fun to organise, but it’s a bit sad that you can’t put anything next to it except for maybe some wall art, because you need to be able to open it up. Still I think it’s worth it! Also I love how Chloe describes how she filled it with ‘air’ as if it’s a product lol.

I’ve seen these online for years. I’ve wanted one, but know it was too far out of my price range. It’d be nice to see a lower price base model where people can make additions over time. My favorite part of this was seeing someone who isn’t a builder just jam on getting all the pieces integrated. I think those fearful of having to build these out needed to see it’s easy.
