He at first didn't believe her, so she kept saying :"I am serious. I am serious right now." I thought maybe someone would like to know what she was saying, hence my comment. P.S. (edit) Oh, and she did say that she is being handcuffed because she was stealing groceries.

As an American who worked as an English teacher abroad in Ukraine and China, I never would have stolen from a store or my place of employment. I was grateful that my employers treated me well as a foreigner, and I had great respect for them and their countries. I'm ashamed that a Ukrainian who came to the safety of America to escape the war decided she was entitled to steal.

I worked at Walmart back in the mid 90s and there were cameras everywhere. I was on the overnight crew unloading trucks and every person that stole got busted.......
