  • I spent 6 years in upstate New York. These nightmares happen every now and again. Good luck folks. Love the attitude that they reach out and help each other.

So glad we retired to a warmer Southern State. Was born and raised in Chicago and went through many horrible storms.

Maybe Al Gore will show up and all the snow will melt? He is the King of "No Snow" so he must have a connection with the "fluffy stuff" maker.

This is a storm for the record books for Western New York. However, I wouldn’t say that it’s record breaking for the Tug Hill Plateau region downwind of Lake Ontario. Tug Hill is traditionally the snowiest place in all of New York.

I live in Western, NY. Buffalo, the Southtowns, and Southern tier, had deep snow. I live North of there, Saturday and Saturday night were when the heaviest snow fell.
