  • literally 2 days without food and they're already resorting to cannibalism... these visual novel characters are something else

Fun fact if your bread is moldy even if you take away all the visible mold the whole loaf is already tainted with it, Some mold can kill you and some mold makes you high and makes you hallucinate. So please never take the risk of eating any moldy bread.

"This game is not for children or those who are easily disturbed." Oh man, last time I heard that one, a self-aware waifu tried to kidnap me.
  • "Alright everyone, we've got no food, we're gonna have to eat this table." Is my favorite line.

Man, imagine getting killed for meat, and your killer being so shit at food storage/preparation that they only get a few cutlets and bits offa your corpse before it goes bad. I would become a vengeful ghost. I hate wasting food! You should be able to eat me for at least a week, and eat like a king at that!

I like how they included actual recipes in this totally-not-a-horror game.

Fun Fact: If you die of hunger the cells in your body start stealing other cells food until you basically eat yourself from the inside out.
  • they turned to cannibalism so fast . like, even the donner party had more restraint

1:05:46 "Они вас никогда не простят" -- "They will never forgive you" and 1:10:17 "Лучше спи с двумя глазами открытыми" -- "Better sleep with two eyes open" is said in Russia. For me, as a Russian-speaking person watching this video, this quiet whisper is very annoying to goosebumps.

Your friends in this game are looking extremelly submissive and eatable
  • Might be wrong but I feel like the "chompettes" are actually real food the protagonist is purposely hiding in that drawer with the intention to starve everyone.

I love how Gregor on his deathbed is just his regular Avatar but horizontal

As a slav, I found it interesting how this game makes a lot of references to slavic folk lore and fairy tales: in many of them the villain tries to eat a child or someone else by baking them in the oven. So basically they act nice and then make you sit on a shovel (which they use to actually put you into the oven)

The fact that Karin was so evil, then Manly drove immediately on the crazy train makes it so much better.
  • @Julia-qe9fn
"bread and jam isnt much, but its more than what we had when we left Ukraine" now with the war, that sentence terrified me
  • @jaysonl
"They'll always be inside of us Gregor..." Oh man, that joke was in poor taste.
  • @lottafandoms
Am I the only one who notice Anatonly's lil friend suddenly went missing? he totally ate him, or tossed it out the window back into nature.
  • @meatcat_x3
Have you noticed how the main characters treat each other? Although according to the story they are friends, they do not support each other, discounting the difficulties on others. Anatoly and Gregor seem good, but only while talking — they also didn't help each other or the others once. Of all the company, it seems, only Maria had something truly good in her. Update: I have theory that they all act like this because this is protagonist's attempt to justify himself. Like "oh look they were so bad I did a good thing killing them"
  • So like, did anyone else pick up on the implied romantic undertones between Gregor and Anatoly? Like, specifically when Gregor says that he didn’t tell Anatoly something before his left, him talking about how they first met, Gregor being the kindest to Anatoly, how when they came back from reading the map and Gregor was blushing. It just seemed like there was something there. Also, I’m pretty sure he was about to say Anatoly’s name before he died.
