8 bit to 16 bit is still one of the absolute biggest jumps in gaming visuals for me. Just... look at these beautiful games.

The original Mario kart still has my favorite battle mode out of all of them. The arenas were just the right size.

Still love Killer Instinct today. My grandma took me in a taxi to go get it at Best Buy. It appeared they were sold out and grandma was like we're leaving now. On the way to leave there was one copy left sticking out ,out of place ,in the music aisle. I was so happy and relieved. Great memories. Thx abuela. Miss ya. See you again in Heaven one day.

My family was blown away by the graphics in Killer Instinct. A true gem.

Dragon Ball Z: Hyper Dimension sprites were an absolute mainstay on early 2000s anime and gaming forums. So clean, so dynamic.

I knew pretty much all of those titles EXCEPT for Winter Gold and let me tell ya, that thing looks amazing, giving me some early 3D Sega arcade game vibes. Also, the SNES port of doom was my introduction to that FPS series and it scared the life out of me when I was a kid lol

In my opinion, DK3 has the best SNES graphic. Having released it in 1996/7 at the end of SNES lifespan, it was truly a swan song. Some people might say DKC2 is better than DKC3 in gameplay, but graphic-wise, DKC absolutely more impressive. I can't forget by the time I reach K3, and Rockface Rumble music hits the first area, I was amazed how good the graphic complements the gameplay. Later I realized the background is similar to Chief Thunder's stage in Killer Instinct. No surprise there because both games made by Rare.

Terranigma is a really underappreciated gem in the SNES library, sad that it only released in Europe outside of Japan and never had a remake or rerelease, not even on Virtual Console. Just a correction about that game, it was made by Enix, not Square. They still weren't merged at the time.
  • Actraiser 2 was the most beautiful game I ever played on the SNES. Super Turrican 2 was also extremely impressive

"Black Winter Night Sky" from Tekken 2 for your Channel intro? I absolutely love this song

Lovely 😍 SNES is my favorite ever. If I could add to the list I would put lock on, Star Ocean, Tengai Makyou Zero

Bahamut Lagoon never gets talked about. Shallow game, sure, but looks amazing.

I actually got DBZ HD imported back in the 90s. Loved it!

Randy Linden's work on SNES Doom is nothing short of sorcery.
