Mitchell was exactly what the Cavs needed for a rebuild and he's proving to be a leader.

As a Jazz fan I loved watching Donovan become a star here in Utah, but I can see that sending him to Cleveland was the right move. He is now an undisputed super star and just so fun to watch. I will always be a fan, no matter where he plays.

The best thing about Darius Garland's stat line is the turnovers. He only had one TO tonight, so he did a damn near perfect job of taking care of the rock tonight.

Man I absolutely love the state that the Cavs are in with Donovan Mitchell being the head-man. The entire squad as a whole is solid from the top-down, but he is definitely here for moments like tonight with his 43 points and 4th-quarter takeover. Definitely a bright future for the team again (btw, I absolutely love the look of their court for this season! )

Mitchell played SO well with the flow of the team. He took his shots when needed, he didn’t force them. He consistently scored every quarter besides maybe the first but even then he was playing with the team. Love to see it.
