  • These ideas are great, especially for someone like me, who, at 72 yrs. of age is so done with fussy recipes! Thank you! You’ve got a new subscriber!

Also is anyone else apart of the Steven fan club?! I love him so much and I love the way he looks at Mandy and supports her in every video!

Your boys are blessed to have someone who enjoys cooking for them. And it touches every mama’s heart when your family appreciates your efforts ☺️
  • Canned biscuit doughnuts are my weekend go to with my kids. Just slightly flatten the dough, cut a hole with a 2 liter cap, free hand it, etc. Then fry it up and you've got easy, fast, budget friendly doughnuts! A dozen at Kroger costs 7.99 or Dunkin 8.99 & you can make double that for 3 cans of biscuits under $5 PLUS the doughnut holes left from cutting out the center! I put out glazes, frosting, and different toppings to make it a family project so everyone can have what they want while spend time together.

You two are so cute together. In the morning, sometimes I’ll make a quick Cowboy Coffee Cake. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8”x8” glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Put a can of biscuits in, side by side. Melt 1/4 cup of butter. Mix in 1/3 cup of brown sugar, 1/3 cup of chopped nuts (I usually have walnuts), 1/4 cup raisins(optional), and 1 tsp. cinnamon. I pour the melted mixture over the biscuits and bake for 20 minutes. Check at 15 minutes (ovens vary). I use the plain small biscuits. Grands might take a few more minutes. Serve. I’ve also done this with canned cinnamon rolls. After it’s done, I drizzle the frosting packet over it while it’s hot. Delicious. Both recipes look and taste like scratch. I’ll probably throw one together Christmas morning to snack while we open gifts.
  • I love how your husband gets excited about all of these. It's great he enjoys trying new things. Makes cooking fun!
  • The skillet apple pie looked awesome. It could also be converted to other pie filling flavors like peach, cherry, blueberry, etc.
  • Love all of these recipes. I am also over 70 years old and like the idea of easy but elegant comfort food. Thanks for sharing❣️

For the dessert, I use canned cinnamon rolls and a can of apple pie filling. I usually add to the apple pie filling with more sugar (1 cup), 2 to 4 tablespoons of apple pie spice, and vanilla. Put the cinnamon rolls in the bottom and put the apple pie spice mix over the top. When done, use the frosting on top from the cinnamon rolls.

Just made the meatball sub bake, I added mini pepperoni and it was definitely a winner. Next we are doing the apple pie for dessert

I love that you share cheese 🧀 with your cat! So cute.
  • Watching your two men gobble down your delicious food is pure joy to see them appreciate what you made. Just a lovely family. Thanks for all these delicious foods! 🎄🌴🙏
  • @kerrough
For the breakfast biscuit bombs, if you scramble everything together it makes stuffing them extra full easier since everything is already incorporated together ❤
  • Canned bisquits are the BEST!! Try this: separate bisquits into 2 (or 4) layers. Put your fave filling on a layer, then wet your finger and wet the edge all around. Place another layer on top and press the edges together. Paint the top with butter. Bake and enjoy! They don't leak (most of the time! 🤞) so they're good to take along. I love your recipes!!! 🥰
  • The meatball sub recipe is the best one so far. I have only made three of your recipes but I love this one so much. I recently found your channel and I am so glad I did. I am really enjoying the the recipes.
  • @edjucat
Lawd, have mercy! I drooled over all four recipes. Can't wait to try them out. Such a lovely family.
  • My husband: I hate cilantro. Me: It's a main ingredient in my Mexican Rice Casserole which you love. Husband: I hate capers. Me: It's a main ingredient in my pasta sauce which you love. I don't think husbands know what "hate" means. 🤣

You are your husband are so cute together! I love how y’all actually appreciate your subscribers . Definitely going to try these recipes
  • @nancyclark2964
I love using canned biscuits! So much easier than making them. I have also used them to make “uglies”. Use the grand biscuits, press into a muffin tin - bottom and up the sides (spray first). Then get out your leftovers, chop up, fill the “muffins”, cover with cheese and bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes! Easy and quick way to use leftovers!

I really enjoy your videos and that you share your home, family, recipe's and Grace the cheese-cat. Last night I made canned biscuits stuffed with shredded cheddar & shredded mozzarella, some heated precooked (kirkland costco) bacon and a bit of browned ground beef. The family LOVED! I thought I made enough to bring to work for lunch today, but it was wiped out, inhaled and annihilated lol!
